So with the new fda regs. Should I be stocking up on stuff or just ride it out? I'm only worried because I enjoy vaping. But if ecigs gets hit hard I can always go back to lozenges and patches tough it won't be as satisfying.

My pbilosophy is hope for the best but prepare for tge worst.

So yes i prepped so i could vape for 5 years.

What i recommend

Switch from tanks with coil heads to Rebuildable RDAs or RTAs.

Learn to rebuild abd learn to DIY your juice.

Here is what i recommend.

3 spares of each of the following

Mods (preferably using 18650 batteries)
Attys
Liters of 100 ml/ml nicotine

500 feet wire for coils.
Real flavors for ejuice.

A $500 Investment you can vape for YEARS.

No need stockpile Vegetable glycerin, Propylene Glycol, or 18650 batteries. All of those are needed by multiple industries.

Batteries are needed for flashlights and cordless power tools.

PG is used in animal safe antifreeze, Carrier for medicine in asthma inhalers, ice cream, flavor extracts, and more

VG is used as a sweetener, preservative, in soap production, hand lotion, ib the making of wine (they USS VG in the airlocks. And more.

Would buying pure nicotine be better than getting a pg or vg mix?

You don't want to buy anything higher than 100mg/ml nic.. actually, I don't think you can buy any higher than that unless maybe you have a special license? Anyway, a few hundred mls of 100mg nic will last you forever and then some. Depending on your PG/VG ratio preference, you may want to get it mixed with a little higher VG, since most flavors are mixed with PG.

Just started making my own coils, bought a few rta's and my DIY juice supplies are on the way. I probably could have waited and spread it out over the next two yrs, but what the hell. Around 350 bucks spent and I shouldn't need to buy anything else until right before the 2 yr grace period ends.

If the deeming regulations are not stopped by the legislators and president; the nicotine is likely to be pulled off the market.

VG PG will remain on tge market because those are needed by various industries.

100 mg/ml nicotine will last a long time.

Agreed. Pure nicotine 1000 mg/ml is used as a poison

100 mg/ml is a LOT safer and easier to deal with.

Before diying get an eJuice calculator snd learn how to use if.

I had looked at pure nic, but couldn't find any that was really less expensive (price per mg) than buying 100mg/ml (at least not from a company that looked legit to me). The only advantage of 99+% would be to save freezer space, but that space saving is MORE than offset by the disadvantages of working with it. I have a Ph.D. in mol bio and worked in the lab for years, often with hazardous materials. I don't have a set up at home to deal with pure nic and I definitely wouldn't work with in without some industrial style safety precautions. Especially not when there is no cost advantage at all.

There is a reason why i recommended an Investment of $500.

They could get enough to vape for YEARS.

Some places the stinkies are $6+ s pack.

If Someone smoked a pack a day that is $180 a month.

For 3 months of smokes they cod vape for 2.5-5 years. I went nic free Dec 28, 2015.

I'm stocking for 10 years. 3 liters of 100mg (based on current consumption of nic), 5 regulated mods (based on the fire button lasting 400,000 clicks), and 10 $9.00 SV rda's. I have the minimun nic but not all the mods and atomizers. I'm likely to increase those numbers for redundancy but the time frame will stay 10 years. Any longer will be a bonus and may be this stuff won't be needed after all.

How do you get to Pluto with a small payload? Planning.

My philosophy is hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

This. Stock up while you can. If the regulations stick, you are prepared. If the regulations get thrown out, you have enough stuff stocked up that you dont have to buy anything for years unless you want to.

I bought 2 Liters of 100mg/ml nic from Myfreedomsmokes about 8 mo. ago for $100. I still have about 1 1/2 liters left. I'll probably buy 1 more liter soon.

The last holiday season there were some good sales on mods so I bought several replaceable battery mods. I now own about 20. Most have never been used.

I should be able to vape for about 5 years at least and longer if I cut back on my nic strength.

Like the boy scout motto says "Be prepared".

The FDA is bought and payed for by Big Pharma and Big Tobacco. I think they will succeed in wiping out the vaping industry in the US. I hope I'm wrong.

    You forgot sonething.

    You saved money by preparing

Tge stuff if forced to the black market will go up 2,000%.

If nothing happens yoy have saved money just on inflation.

Now, I may be wrong but I have read and been told by someone I know that produces E-Liquid on a large scale for a local wholesale company that Nicotine will expire between 2 and 2.5 years. I don't know if this is true or not. Any insight?

I personally have some that is almost a year old with no perceivable degradation. In a frozen state it can be preserved quite a long time.

Looks like I can afford to stockpile a few mods and tanks. Will try Harder to get to 0mg nic be for the regs kick in. Pure nicotine seems to dangerous for a noob like me to mess with. I'll have to get some pg or vg nic. Thanks for the advice and comments, I know this subject has been touched a few hundred times.

Funny you should say this. My doomsday scenario is to vape zero nicotine and suck lozenges.
The regs will never stop me vaping (Europe) unless they ban all the other substances (discounting the Nicotine) used in DIY.
