Not sure how to say this without being gross. Giving it a shot though.

When I first started vaping I had something that could easily be interpreted as stomach pains what it actually was was bowel cramps. I was not drinking enough water to keep my bowels functioning properly and becoming massively constipated. doubling my water intake took care of it for me. Things are working fine now.

I am not a doctor and if the pain doesn't pass or is bad then I would see a doctor if I were you.

that is the last of the nasty tobacco leaving your GI tract.(tobacco is like gonorrhea. the gift that keeps on giving.) it is none too happy that you are getting out of the tobacco slavery trap. it gets better from here on. with a bad day or 2 - 2 months in while the trace elements are flushed from your organs. completely physiologically free of tobacco at 90 days. nicotine is up to your taste, and expectations. 4 days out of your blood stream, and 2 weeks to the end of nicotine slavery. keep doing what you are doing. hydrate, and eat well.

OK I want to jump in here because I've had similar issues.. I've quit smoking a few times and each time I would get those stomach pains usually within an hour or so after eating. I would drink plenty of water and that never made a difference. Well I've been strictly vaping since last October and I still get those pains.. I'm planning to go to a doc next month as soon as my insurance kicks in but I think it has something to do with the fact that smoking is a natural laxative (I don't know what part of it or why but it just is) and so if you have some sort of digestive disorder like IBS or Crohn's the symptoms will show up full strength once you quit smoking.

One thing I do that works at least temporarily is drink some seltzer water (I add the Mio flavorings) so the carbonation helps relieve some of the abdominal gas pressure. I've also had to switch to mostly soups or liquid calories for the first part of the day until my digestive system kicks into gear.

I have noticed that certain flavors will set me off more than others when it comes to eliquid.. I don't know what ingredient it is that causes it so I just minimize the amount of that flavor and go with ones I know are safe.

I know how much this sucks and in my experience it only got worse.. Go to a doctor and get it checked out.. I'll let you know how it turns out once I go to one as well :)

Hmm now that you mention it, I have been getting stomach pains when I wake up since I started vaping. It has only been about a month and a half since I started, but the pains only started about a week ago. To be honest I don't know if it is vaping or the medication I am on since the meds leave me constipated a lot, but it usually isn't as painful as it has been in the morning. I probably drink about a gallon of liquid a day, so I doubt it is that. As someone said in a previous post, it is probably the tobacco/4000 other chemicals besides nicotine leaving our bodies, I'll chock it up to that. I also have a ton of kidney stones sitting in my kidneys so who the hell knows what it is, at least I know vaping isn't making anything worse, making everything better I think.

Now you've been given good advice so far. The best of which is consult a doctor. I do however have one more to add. Is you juice 100% VG? I noticed that strait VG juice gave me stomach pains so I don't use it. I might be off since I've never heard anybody else say anything like this, it could have been something about the flavor, it could have been the vender, the batch you name it, but that's my experience.

Even if this helps see a doctor or at least be sure to mention it to them on your next visit.

I think OP said they were primarily using Boba's and I think that's a natural tobacco extract? I know the one flavor that sets me off is Pirate's Booty (which I love, don't get me wrong) but that's a natural tobacco extract as well.. Maybe that's the issue.. Mine is 70/30 PG/VG at 12mg nic

It may not have anything to do with vaping. As suggested before, please see your doctor. We may give you the best advice we can, but we're not doctors.

This.

It seems like everybody wants to link every symptom with vaping anymore. It may be entirely unrelated, or may have more to do with quitting the cigs than picking up a PV.

I will chime in here...I have stomach issues since quitting smoking and I HAVE been to the doctor. Let me explain what happens to SOME people when they quit.....
After 1-4 months after quitting smoking some peoples digestive systems will go through nicotine withdrawal. This can cause many symptoms including pains, nausea, bloating, constipation, etc.
It may take several months for your system to get back on track.
Things that help...increased water intake, adding fiber to your diet, taking probiotics.

Vaping does not allow the nicotine to absorb as deep into your body as smoking does so even tho you are getting nicotine from vaping your system may still show signs of withdrawal.

Most people assume it is from vaping because most of us start vaping at the same time that we quit smoking and symptoms appear. Also vaping is new to your system so naturally you would assume new symptoms are from the new vaping.

After all of that....this may not be your problem so please see your doc if symptoms continue. I am not a doctor...just passing on personal knowledge.

............ It should't be from not drinking enough water because I normally drink at least 8-10 glasses a day

you might be getting enough water, but it is a simple thing to test, drink more water and see if it helps...........

............ and so if you have some sort of digestive disorder like IBS or Crohn's the symptoms will show up full strength once you quit smoking.

just repeating this because I have seen this talked about quite a lot on the forum........

One thing a lot of people forget is the number of chemicals our body is used to getting regularly from tobacco cigs. I am sure there ate many different ways people are effected by removing these many of them entirely from our daily routine.

I remember someone telling me once that smoking analogs speeds up your metabolism. That's why some people gain weight after quitting smoking. The metabolism slows down and your food is digested slowly. This also assists in better nutrient absorption. (another plus to getting off of analogs) So, it could be a withdrawal symptom. I've had...ummm....gas (did I really say that?) the past couple of days. And some stomach pains tonight. Not too bad though...so, if you don't feel better soon, please see a doctor.

Hope you get to the doctor & are able to figure this out. Normally when I feel a lil nauseous it's because I'm not drinking enough water...and I know I'm not drinking enough. My other addiction was/is caffeine so I've had to make sure that I'm drinking plenty of water now that I vape.
