Glad this was brought up because I've been debating over whether to see the doctor about the stomach pains I've been having the past couple of weeks. Yep, I put down my last cig a little over 2 weeks ago, and the month before that I was down to less than 5 a day from about 40 cigs a day!!
I get pains in the same spot, very tender to the touch in like a crescent shape over my belly button area and bloating in and out of my stomach. Like a fierce alien baby is gonna bust through at any minute sometimes.

I am drinking a lot of water, not constipated. GasX helps somewhat, but not really, hard to know if it's gas or what, have never had these type pains in my belly before. Eating a lot of vegetables, and yogurt. I vape 80/20 PG/VG 36mg mostly. I DO have gallstones, that were diagnosed last year so I am a bit concerned about this pain and will see about making a doctor's appointment tomorrow just for safety's sake.

I want to point out that I DO NOT think this has ANYTHING to do with vaping.. I think it has to do with significant dietary changes.. When it happened for me the first couple of times, not only did I quit smoking but I quit drinking pop (or soda as the rest of the world calls it) and completely changed my diet.. I'm now on a weight loss plan where I've started eating a lot of veggies with even with a normal digestive system would cause some issues. I've found what veggies I shouldn't eat and which ones I absolutely cannot eat.

I do however believe that this has a lot to do with quitting smoking because of how smoking effects digestion on the whole. The pains I experience are intestinal gas cramps which include bloating and constipation.. Drinking the amount of water I drink should prevent this but it doesn't seem to make any difference. The only way to deal each day is to eat the minute I wake up in the morning and make sure it is an easily digestible meal and to eat small meals every 3-4 hours.. Drinking carbonated water helps relieve gas cramps throughout the day. I've noticed that exercise actually aggravates the pains and I have to lay down until they are gone.

It is in all an absolutely horrible experience and I would not wish it on anyone but I would love to know what the heck is going on inside. I do plan to go to a doctor but right now I can't and so I have to deal until then..

I know the OP has only mild pains as they have stated but I don't want them to be at the point I am where it completely interrupts their life. I've talked to doctors about these pains before and all my last doc told me was that I had to quit smoking and lose weight and everything would fix itself but sadly all that seems to have done is make things worse. *sigh*
