Anybody here try the stuff? I did and it's kinda nasty. I got a box of the Spearmint. I'm afraid of it giving me a stomach ache. I guess it wasn't bad, but not good either. Do you get used to this stuff or am i stuck with a box that I'll never like.

As a final thought, does anyone know the nic level in each piece? I vape at 48mg and snus the stronger stuff (got a big order coming in this week from getsnus). Dissolvables just seem like a curiosity to me, but could work in a pinch. I work with seniors and I have to stealth vape and snus to remain sane.

Thanks for your time.

I received a couple of boxes of the 2 mg Java flavor back in the spring in trade for tobacco seed. Being sensitive to higher levels of nic, the 2 mg was too much for me. It worked rather well to break them in half, as far as nic hit. The flavor of the Java was tolerable, but certainly nothing to write home about. If I remember correctly, one box was 'Natural,' and was truly disgusting to me as far as taste.

I have used Stonewalls non-stop since they came on the market is 2004 (Ariva came in 2002). The Stonewall pellets of pure Virginia sun-cured tobacco contain 4mg of nicotine each. The Ariva pieces are 1.5mg each. They are supposedly for "regular" and "light" smokers.

I only like and use the Java flavor. Don't care for spearmint and flat-out dislike the regular taste.

A Stonewall goes into my mouth the instant I wake up every morning. It stays there through coffee. It follows every meal, particularly when I'm dining out and don't care to make a scene with an e-cig. Stonewall is my number one.

Snus is in second place. Snus can contain up to 17mg of nicotine per portion, but I mostly use in the 6mg to 8mg range. I do like the strong ones sometimes, however, and keep some on hand.

E-cigs are third. Nice for the habit; not so nice for too little nicotine, even at 36mg to 48mg. They are missing something, most likely alkaloids kept out of e-liquid but present in all true tobacco products like Stonewall and snus and nasal snuff.

Hope this helps.

I'm with TB on the absence of alkaloids, I was vaping almost constantly, then I tried snus and my vaping started to dwindle. Now I go through a can of the Thunder minis about every two days.

If I can find some place local that sells the Stonewall's I'm going to try some. They sound like they would be great to have during long exams or meetings.

has anyone ordered them online? If so who did u order from? the site that you get directed to from the official site says free shipping for these, but i don't know if thats right cause they also show a different price on the main page but when u go to the order page its about $3. more.
mycro....I think there is a previous thread buried here somewhere in this section for online orders. I do know that one online site that was carrying Stonewalls/Ariva is no longer selling them.:)The Wiz!

Chewing Tobacco, Leaf Tobacco and Roll Your Cigarettes

I ordered a box of the java stonewalls and a roll of general white snus Monday and they arrived Wednesday. The first one I admit I didn't really care for. By the 10th one I was warming up to the flavor. When I opened the second pack Saturday I was actually excited. These thinks deliver fast and strong. It would take me chain vaping 48mg for 45minutes to deliver what this does in less than 5. The snus from that site is fresh too, if you were wondering.

Sigh. Yet another company that only ships within the USA. I'm trying to get stonewall shipped international but I keep getting, well, stonewalled:(

All I had to do was ask my local tobacco shop owner to carry Stonewalls. He complied and always has a supply for me. Course, his are more expensive that ordering online, but I still buy from him -- cause he's a good guy and has been a friend for years.

The wholesalers get the shop's orders and products are delivered every Wednesday. If you know a local tobacco shop owner, put in a request that he/she stock Stonewall and Ariva.

Once he put them on display, other cigarette quitters started buying them and now he runs out periodically!

I agree TV always support the local guys. My local store was always a good source for tubes and sometimes had my brand of tobacco when I was doing RYO. I went there today to buy my Stonewall Jave.

Hi a2d
Did they have the stonewall and if so how are they working for ya?

Yep, they did have the Stonewall. I tried the "natural" and the "Java". Not exactly like candy but I'll see if I can get used to it. I'm going to buy some snus at one of the online vendors. Hopefully I can get what I need without having to buy too many samples.

Can't speak for much, but the Thunder Frosted mini portions are doing good for me. Just a subtle spearmint flavor, think weak gum, and no detectable odor around Momma, packed with 8 essential milligrams of nicotine. 1 portion and a little vape of 36 here and there and no urge to smoke, life is in normal (relative) perspective :).

Amazing the difference it makes!

And now that I've added the snuff the number of snus portions I use in a day has dropped.

Ah T Bob, a true visionary that man!
