i just noticed this atty at Venerable while looking for the StingRay clone. i like to looks of it. kinda like an origen but with the air passing up from under the coil it appears. anyone have any experience with one of these?

Looks like an origen clone to me. I don't think the air comes from under the coil on this one. I think those holes you're looking at are the posts without the screw in it. The airholes look like they're in the top cap.

oh ok. that was confusing me. i think youre right. i had thought of that but somehow i just wanted to believe the air was coming up from under the coil, with that hole there. but your explanation makes more sense.

AJ at Venerable Vaping got it and sent it fast. It was waiting for me to get home from Breckenridge.

So far so good.
It's very nicely machined and has a high polish finish.
I don't care for the logo, so I may brush it.
It's not a replica of the Origen V2 - but it is very similar.
It is quite a bit shorter than the Origen V1 (clone).
The juice well trenches are individually cut (like the Origen V1) unlike the Origen V2 is more of a bridge with both trenches connecting for one large well.
Obviously the airflow control is a little different.
The outer afc sleeve turns smoothly and easily without messing up the main caps position (unlike the Origen V1 clone I have).
It seems like it's missing an o-ring on top - but it doesn't affect functionality in any way that I can tell.
It does have one airhole/single coil capability.
The lower nut does loosen up and the center post height can be adjusted - but I didn't really mess with it.
It does not have a hole in the center post - so coil leads must be wrapped around.

I wrapped some horizontal coils, centered in the wells and some 2mm braided cotton doubled through.
Vape doesn't seem significantly different - but I've only had it for a couple hours.
Honestly I got a EHPro Valkyrie clone at the same time and have not been able to put it down - so I need to spend a bit more time with the Storm for a better perspective.

Got one of these bad boys that should be here in a few hours (fingers crossed). I don't remember how I stumbled on it, but I'm STOKED to hear some of the details I found here. Single airhole (I bought it specifically for one of my 350 mods), short (again, 350 stuff), adjustable pin... I'll post my thoughts after I get a build or 2 and some vape time on this bad boy.

I'm vaping on this bad boy today. Finally put down the Valkyrie clone.
Great flavor and very good vapor production. I really like the the size of it on my Caravela clone. I prefer 18650s, so the smaller the better.
I'm surprised more people aren't jumping all over this. For $30 it's probably the best atty with AFC, dual and single mode, small chamber, drip well out there. I'm loving this thing. I really want to brush the top cap to match the Origen, but the polish looks pretty damn good.

I've had to hunt down USPS and raise hell to get my vapemail before.

I've been waiting all week for this damn thing... I called USPS (like there was any hope there)... "delivered" yesterday, still no sign of it. Case filed with USPS, and I'm supposed to get a call by Wednesday. If not, I have to call back and wait another 20 minutes on hold, to *hopefully* get someone who can help me. I'm just hoping I don't have to buy another, be out $30, and wait another week or 2 to get it.

I'm in. Just ordered one. I like small chambers. I plan on going single coil so I get a nice 18350 stealth set up going with a brass Caravela and brass drip tip.

I can't wait to receive mine! So as a recommendation what do you think for a first build: dual vertical or horizontal coils? I can set it up with cotton or ekowool.

So mine showed up today, only 4 days *after* USPS listed it as "delivered". I ordered another Sunday night just in case, so I guess I'll have 2 now...

Either way, I'm having a hard time getting good flavor out of this thing, which really surprised me. I bought it specifically for single coils, but can't seem to get it to work "right". I'm about to go try my 3rd build in as many hours. I'm determined to get this thing rippin' tough.
