i just noticed this atty at Venerable while looking for the StingRay clone. i like to looks of it. kinda like an origen but with the air passing up from under the coil it appears. anyone have any experience with one of these?

Storm A RDA 22mm Stainless Steel

I have one; been using it a couple of weeks. Easy to build, good AFC. Good volume, flavor and TH. First build cotton, not good, too much. Second better but dried real quick. Now it's built with 3mm silica in opposing diagonals going down to the wells. juice lasts longer and wicks pretty good.

Pros: Very well designed and made. Solid. Doesn't open accidentally. Very easy to build but demanding for best wick form and placement. Easy to drip. Can be built dual or single.
Cons: Fair juice capacity; ~1ml. Fingerprint magnet. Weeps a bit through the vent holes. AFC cap is rather loose in my sample; I'd prefer a firmer fit, will try to find a thicker o-ring.

I'm still experimenting. Let me know what you would like to know about the thng.

Storm RDA Rebuildable Atomizer V2 by Fcusecig (Former Orieco)
$25 VaporDNA

The V2 looks great, they went with the single "cyclops" air hole instead of the three hole design and bigger channels than before.

I love the Storm-A, it gives me a flavorful, juicy vape which I assume is coming from the coil being "suspended" (for lack of a better term) instead of laying close to the deck surrounded by wicking material.

I wonder if the Storm-A aluminum air flow rings will fit the new V2?

Picked up the V2 tonight from Vapor DNA's B&M in Torrance. 2nd try on that, 1st time I ordered from site and it sold out while still in my cart :S

Pretty vanilla build with cotton wick; and I grabbed the wrong wire (28 instead of 26), but this is performing and tasting great even at 0.75 ohms :D

I've had the Storm v2 for a couple of weeks and so far it's been great, but building it can be a little finicky since it doesn't have a hole in the positive post like the Origen. The way the air-holes are positioned (at least for me), they tend to sit underneath my coil, so I have to push down my coils to get them more centered. Also, I find it a pain to trap 26g on the positive post, has anyone else had that issue?

Thanks OP for this thread. I've got a Storm-a clone on the way, just to see if I like the design. I ordered it before I saw this thread (must be on the slow boat). Any rate the clone is under $10 so we'll see what we see when it arrives. If I'd seen this thread first I'd have probably ordered an original. I'll try and take come pics for comparison purposes and post them if the thing ever gets here
