how important is it to keep this atty upright? in other words, are you guys getting much leaking with yours?
say the drip wells are moderately filled but you had the air holes closed- would you trust it in a pocket (assuming your o-rings are tight enough)?

I've found this to be one of the most pocket friendly drippers I've ever used (besides, as you stated, o-rings that are sometimes a bit loose). I can way overfill mine, and it still won't leak unless I lay it down sideways with the airflow open.

awesome. thx. i cant wait until they restock. AJ at Venerable said not until April though. the only other sites i can find are either canada or UK and the shipping kills the deal.

This is another cross-post from the "post your coil" thread, but I thought it would be helpful here. This is THE best coil I've built in my year+ of building coils. 7/32, 5/6 wrap, 25ga KA1 wire.

This thing has CRAZY good flavor, more than enough vapor, and (for me) the perfect amount of throat hit. I've found with the Storm, a *huge* factor when building is height of the coil. The airholes so high, that if you like building close to the deck (like I do) you'll get piss-poor vapor, lots of throat hit, and very little vapor. You really need to get your coils ***UP*** higher than you (or maybe just I) think they should be.

This... is... awesome...

mitey, that is a very nice quality photo! and great looking build too. i plan to build something similar.
i too have learned that coil placement concept you describe. it started with gennys with the top cap twist phenomenon. then once i got into drippers, i learned that the same concept applies, only this time youve got 4 ways to center/off-center (up, down, left right) the coil rather than just two on a genny (left and right)

This RDA looks pretty cool. I live the double drip well concept. Have to add this one to the list, thanks OP.

no problem. glad i could help. the funny part is, i havent even ordered mine yet.

I've had mine for around two weeks now, and was surprised with how nice it is for the $$.. Damn close to the Origen v2 without being a direct counterfeit. :) Vapes like a champ. :vapor:

I did go back to grab another, but was too late... I will keep my eyes peeled in April for certain... ;)

Same here. Peeled in April. I've been interested an origin dripper since September. Now that there's clones/origin-style drippers, and the reviews are good, I really want to dive in.

So here are a couple of less than great pics of my storm-a with a vicious ant stinger drip tip sitting on top of a brass nemesis clone. I orginally bought the stinger drip tip for my valkyrie clone but it fits perfect on the Storm-A.

My build is a single coil Flat Ba$7@rd 7 wrap coil at 1.2 ohm. I should have went 5 or 6 wraps to drop to .9 or 1 ohm. Pretty good vape anyway.

Ps. I just noticed in the top image it looks like there is a gap where the top cap meets the base of the atomizer. It just isn't pushed down all the way. It does sit 100% flush.

Any idea when the US store will get some back in stock? The other link I think is to a store in the UK and for the cost plus shipping I could get two here from the states.

Really looks like a nice dripper. I have wanted to get a dripper that doesn't give air from the bottom and this one looks great, and an extremely good price for being all ss and such.

I've been using the storm-a for a few day now and it has quickly became my new favorite dripper. No need to drill IMO and really like the wells. For the price it absolutely can't be beat.

I have a dual vertical micro coil with cotton setup in it now and I am getting what I can only describe as very "wet" flavor, it's extremely flavorful. I am thinking this has something to do with how my wick is setup since it didn't have as much my last build. I used only a single piece of cotton to wick both coils with the cotton going up and over the center post to connect the two coils. I am loving this setup and having the wick over the center post allows me to drop right through the top cap or drip tip with no problem. I took the cap off after redripping and the juice was dispersed very evenly between the two sides and wells.
