ugh! I noticed on 511virginia that the roads around DC are purple. Still snowing in Roanoke... but we have power! Not that we want to use it. Our bill from last month was $642. Think of all the juice and cartos I coulda bought... :p

Hang in there, Michelle! So what are you doing to stay warm? I'd be in a sleeping bag with gloves on vaping away. ;)

My "stay warm" plan was to invite my 3 dogs on my bed and use their body heat ;) They certainly liked that idea :)

Sure I will post pictures of my pups! Here are storm pics first. CUTE pup there Critter :)

This was Friday at 2pm nothing on the roads. The stuff you see on the grass, some was new and some was leftover from a few days ago.

This next picture was 6pm Friday when it really started accumulating quickly. This was taken from my front door.

Friday 11pm this is out my back door. All the snow on the table is from this storm as I cleared it off Thursday. Note to the left of the table is my Koi pond. (will get back to that)

This is out the back door at 10am today. Can't see it in this picture but my Koi pond is completely covered and the pipes burst in the pump earlier this week. I am extremely worried about my fish out there.

This is out my front door at 10am, my neighbors car is disapeering from view.

And finally, this is my backup heat source(s)

I hope we hear from Bellatrist soon, her area is supposed to be hit really hard I think.

I'm in York, PA and we have about 2 feet, I guess? My back yard looks just like those pictures! No power loss yet, but not looking forward to shoveling snow. Damn, I wish I had a snow plow or snow blower!

I tried to keep up with the shoveling but gave up last night. My neighbor has a snow blower and has been known to take care of me and the woman next door so I am hoping to see him soon :) He will be getting plenty of baked goods and gift cards from me!

We haven't lost our electric, although my brother, only 3 miles away, has lost his since 3 am.

We've gotten about 1 1/2 feet so far. They're saying another 6-12 tonight?

Here's a pic of 2 of our cars in the driveway. Or at least I think our cars are under there. :D

28 inches here and counting. I have 5 Chuck batteries charged, 6 510 batteries charged and 2 Laser batteries charged. I am ok for a bit.

Sounds like you are set! Stay safe :)

Glad to hear your power came back! A power outage is probably a vaper's biggest fear - we need Leaford to get cracking on a solar-powered PT ;-)

Mojo to all affected by the storm - looks like a whopper!

I just ordered my Car adapter, so safe to say once it arrives it won't snow again this winter ;)

My usb charger is at my boyfriends place. :(

Going to do my best to stay warm. No heat so I hope the electricity doesn't stay out for too long. Thank goodness I have my blackberry, I can't sleep so this is the only thing keeping me occupied. The silence here is scary, funny how we get so used to everyday white noise. I can hear my dog breathing and she is downstairs.
Good luck, stay warm, been there done that born and raised in Ct., move to Florida and what happens Harry canes......ah me.
