Strange wicking problem with Kylin RTA

It seems to only wick efficiently if I unscrew the top cap. As soon as I unscrew it bubbles come out of the juice flow and I can see my juice level going down.

Pretty new to RTAs, any information on this would be much appreciated.

Yup. Sounds like a vapor lock. If the juice wells are overstuffed with wick, there can be problems with feeding sufficient juice to the coil, and an inability to equalize pressure between the chamber/outside and the air space in the tank itself.

Don't cut the length, take your pointy tweezers or even a needle & remove some bulk by fluffing it out, it won't be too fluffy right now cos it's wet lol but just remove some density.

I used less cotton when wicking and it works perfectly now. Thanks
