Strength (mg) question

After searching/reading what I'd guess would be half of the threads on this forum (lol), I figured I post,say hi, and ask a Q.

I smoke about a pack of Salem lights daily, and just placed my order on PureSmoker, but now I'm second guessing my selection of ejuice strength(11mg). As I've said, I've read soooo many threads and most posters recommended starting with a lower strength and increasing if need be.
I'm not really worried about the money, if I have to order some medium at some later point thats fine. Its more of a me obsessing/being curious about it. Anyway, does anyone think I'll be ok with 11mg?

I was smoking 1-2 packs of Marlboro Virginia Blend (not lights) before I started vaping.

I started with 16mg and got headaches and nausea, presumably from too much nicotine. I say that because when I dropped to 11mg, that didn't happen anymore.

My suggestion: Start low, see how much you go through and if you need to you can bump the strength or just go through more liquid. Others, would advise you to go higher and if you feel bad, drop back.

Six of one half dozen of the other, I suppose.

As you were smoking lights, for a guess around 0.7mg per stick? your 11 mg seems a sensible starting point to me. You will soon find your feet and if you decide you need to step down the 11mg can be used to deal with any craving spikes you might have.

Only when you start vaping will you know what is right for yourself. Just take it easy to start with as it is easy to overdo it.

I was smoking about a pack of analog ultralights per day prior to vaping.

I went straight for the 24mg liquid without asking for input.

I personally don't feel like I am satisfied with the 24mg liquid unless I accidently swallow some.

I did just quit analogs though.

I smoked a pack and a half a day mostly Marlboro for 29 years switched to lights for six months before finding e cigs. 14mg seemed too harsh to me so I went to 11mg and its perfect but I want to reduce and get off nic altogether.

I'm not sure about the strength of liquid to buy so just went for

Malboro 18mg high
and
Strawberry 0mg zero (this is in the hope I can get off the nicotine completely)

I've spent 2 days now with my 3 901's and tried lots of tricks from this site but alas still not getting much vapour as I think the cartridges are to blinking dry.

I will give this ecig one more go with the ejuice when it comes and if that still doesn't work I'll have to think of a Plan B...

Anything over 11mg gives me a nic buzz and warning not to take anymore.

I vape 6-11mg a lot and occasionally have a couple of drops of 18mg for a spike. I do not crave tobacco in any way.

I smoked 2 packs of ultralights a day.

I started out with 14mg carts and 18mg liquid (I have no idea why I ordered like that) and it was way too much nic for me! I'm using 11mg nic or mixing til I get 11mg of nic and it's perfect.

Oh hell, I think I've made another mistake... As I said in my other posts, I've not been getting much vapour from my ecigs so ordered some ejuice today. I went for the 18mg but now I'm worried that if I use it to top up the cartridges I have which are high, I might be having too much.

Is there anything I can do to safeguard against this?
