I bought my Grand from Rob almost a year ago. At one point the inside was covered in juice and after a thorough cleaning the long screw refused to snug up. (first and only time removed)

I know this is the mods achilles heel...
The mod functions perfectly when the battery is in place.

Can this be repaired? Is it normally the screw tip or the soft aluminum threads cut into the reo?

Thanks for any input.
Don

A longer screw sometimes works . You can put a drop of super glue in the threaded hole in the base of the mod push the delrin insert in place put the screw back in put your battery in and it will hold. If you want I can put a bigger screw in the unit and re tap the box

That's what I was wondering (if it could be retapped) doesn't seem like much material to work with.
I will try the adhesive idea ... I just don't want to make it impossible to repair in the future.
Thanks for the quick response Rob.
