I was remembering the last time I felt this way.... Thanks to my two dentists not lining up at ALL and the denture dude is going on vacation... I have ready to go implants and no denture for them until the 17th.... The denture guy did drill holes in my top denture so I could "wear" it (no chewing) starting Monday, he also had dire predictions and wants me to go see a periodontist while my oral surgeon says everything's fine. 
Having spent 19K in totality for these, I don't know what to do, but I have little screws/hooks up top and they HURT my gums and lips horribly and I can't wear the dentures O/N.... For some reason, it popped into my head the last time my mouth hurt this much and it was during 5 years of braces (I am sure my parents are SO thrilled they straightened my crooked teeth, now, esp. since my mom helped me with the bottom implants in return for fixing her house for sale (that was a rough week)....
Braces wax! Can anyone think of a reason to not use braces wax while I'm vaping? It's an inert substance and I vape at like 8--10 watts.... I can't imagine it being a problem? I'm going to send my husband out for some as soon as he's in driving condition.... Unless someone can come up with a reason why it might be a bad idea? It would at least give me overnight relief, but I want to wear it like for 72 hours straight, at this point (barring washing, cleaning, etc).
Any thoughts about this being a bad idea? I'd think hot coffee would melt the wax more than anything, and I doubt my denture guy (he makes great dentures but he's far from an optimist) imagines my dental implants are just going to FALL right out of my mouth between now and whenever I can/do go see a periodontist (I probably will to be on the safe side).....
This particular plan has not worked out the way I had hoped, at all. Except that I was able to vape through it which was a minor miracle in itself???
Help if you think it's a tragic idea?
