STRONG throat hit

Hi everyone.

So Im converting from cigarette to pv my first set up should show up today ! yay Anyways I like a VERY strong throat hit - like knock you back omg strong without a burning toxic feeling in your thoat lol yes i am a picky smoker lol light smokes just dont cut it for me i can chain smoke an "air" smoke 24/7 and still want a smoke lol anyway so i ordered a few juices found the cheapest vender i could for testing (4$ per 6ml at canadaeliquid) there highest nic level is 30 so I picked that (although I have seen places that sell as high as 46 mg ) Anyways i have a 650 mah ego twist with the low res 2.1-2.4 ohm crystal vision clearomizer I was hoping someone could give some info on how strong the throat hit might be and the best voltage for maximum hit - also I will be giving this juice to 2 other people in my house to try and get them into pv so i might have to dilute it a bit if its too strong. i was going to do this with vg. would this work well and how much flavour will i lose ? I know these are kind of random questions and i could figure it out by testing but my pv my pvs comming today - whenever the darn mail gets here ! so im trying to pass the time - any help or insight you guys could give me would be great (might save me from messing up my juice when diluting too )

You should get plenty of TH with that nic level. If you really need a strong TH you might want to try Tiramisu at the 36 nic, it will knock you flat! LOL Love tiramisu but it is a strong hit. bnrk

im glad to here that i was abit worried since ive seen it at 46 that 30 wasnt really all that strong. Do you know anywhere you can get tiramisu in canada I dont think I have come across a vendor with that flavor yet but it sounds awesome !

Important to match your PV with the right ohms BUT seeing as you have a VV Twist you'll be able to adjust to get the right wattage.
Most begin at 18 0r 24 mg nic BUT some, such as myself, began at 36 mg.
Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 15%- could be higher or lower depending on the flavor used. Using VG or PG to dilute your juice will take away from the flavor. Vg more so. VG is also very thick and too high a VG ratio can lead to wicking issues. To cure this add a few drops of distilled water.
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like - many of us believe PG to be a throat irritant.
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG.

Voltage on 2.4 ohm's should be around 3.75 volts. start at 3.5 and move up from there. back down as soon as you taste anything burnt or nasty.

If you are a heavy smoker 30mg/ml should be ok, maybe a bit high. I started at 24 mg/ml and smoked 2 packs of full flavor a day

You can add vg, but you will lose flavor. I would wait and see how the juice and setup works for you first.

The main thing is to get you off the cigs, you can drop the nic later. some people need the higher nic to kick the cigs.

If so desired, experiment and add a drop or two of apple cider vinegar into your juice bottle. This will enhance the TH.

Not sure about Canada, but you could try High Desert Vapes not sure if he ships to Canada. He makes the Tiramisu ejuice. You could buy the flavor also and make your own like I do. Can you get nic base in Canada? brnk

If you like menthol, a strong menthol or Ice can add to TH

Throat hit (TH) comes mostly from your nicotine level. I started at 36mg but quickly moved to 24mg and now down to 16mg. PG allows more of the TH to come through, VG mutes it to a degree. Warmer vapor enhances TH to a degree.

With a 2.4 ohm "head", I would start out at about 4.2 volts and adjust up or down to your preference.

As far as "cutting" the nic strength of your eliquid, you can do that by adding PG or VG but as you surmised, you will reduce the flavor, also. A better way to do it, is get the same flavor eliquid in a lower nic level, say 12mg. Then you can mix the two eliquids to whatever nic level inbetween those two numbers you like without reducing the flavor. For example: half 30 and half 12 (30 + 12/2 = 21mg strength).

I add a drop of pga for every 5ml of juice to add a little throat hit kick.

thanks for the tips thats great to know i thought that VG produced higher TH then PG * i got a 70/30 mix. the apple cider vinager is a good trick il have to try that if the juice i got doesnt have enough TH. il look into high desert vapes thanks for the link Ive got a menthol that i got for my grandma (smokes over a pack a day for over 40 years ) il give hers a try and see how the TH is.

OMG the wait is agonizing ! Im dying to try out this pv and i know its comming sometime today ! Grr i think it would be easier if the mail showed up on the same time everyday then i would know when it will be here ! Any prep you guys recomend before first use ? I have the crystal vision clearomizer as mentioned above. I have heard that you should run water through it then blow it out into a paper towel to remove any material left on it from manufacturing.

You will not be disappointed.........it aint chaep but its some of the purest juice out there..... try some unflavored, I think you will like it as you can only taste the nicotine......TH get either 30mg or 36mg....... Plus it reallly satisfies your nic fix at these levels.....

Nicotine is also a throat irritant as proven in research studies. Nothing wrong with throat irritants and nicotine is the stronger of the two irritants.

Or you could learn to direct drip....attys give the best flavor and vapor .....
