Small in which dimension?

An eGo is wider than most (but not all) pens, but you can get a very nice vape in a very small package...

eGo-C 450mAh battery
IGO-S single-coil dripper
Ceramic shorty drip-tip

An eGo beauty ring would make that perfect.

It's all about compromise. So what are you willing to give to get what you want. "Small' and "strong" simply do not fit in the same package.
So maybe something not as small and not as strong is what you are looking for.

This Caravela with with an 18490 battery is actually shorter than a 650mAh ego battery, and can give you a 16 amp limit to play with.

Topper also come in all sorts of shapes & sizes, and what I like might not be even close to what you like.

I vape like crazy, but I prefer penstyle ecigs. Got any suggestions to help me with my dilemma? An ecig larger than a pen completely takes away from my vaping experience. Any suggestions are welcomed! :)

OP's post is quite clear as to preference and reasons.
Let's stick with suggestions that the OP has asked for please :)

Well, OP said "pen style". That would be the Joyetech eCab I posted

As a matter of fact, there are actual Sharpie marker tops that will fit over the eCab so it will truly look like a pen.

You can also get a 510-to-eCab adapter, so you will be able to use both the proprietary (wonderful) Type A Joyetech atties, or a regular 510 clearomizer from any company.

There is also the Kanger eSmart.....I don't have one but they look pretty nice~!

The problem with some of these kits is that they go off the shelves and don't get replaced, because some of the vaping reviewers are not in touch w/fact that people still like smaller simpler stuff. They are not looking for room filling clouds or 20 hour battery life..they just want stuff to take to job at office or hospital, places like that, where they can grab a vape in car on errands, etc. and they love small stuff.

Some of the big name reveiwers "kill" products this way.

I talk to a lot of nurses, home health aides, waitstaff, guys who do EMS calls, soccer moms... and none of them "want" anything larger than a cig-a-like like eRoll or Penstyle like eCab during work hours. And it is obvious to see why.

I see nobody has come to my rescue. :)

Can someone please explain?.... I thought "Pen sized" included eGo batteries. In fact I thought Pen sized WAS eGo batteries, as opposed to cig-a-like sized.

    Help..

Pen style batteries were things like the DSE801 and BE112. Long automatic batteries from the past that had a tendency to fail but vaped quite well until they did. Hope that helps.

eGo batteries have a 510 connector and are usually manual (they have a firing button). The size of them is normally in proportion to their capacity - a 450 mah is tiny whereas a 2200 mah like the eGo-R is significantly larger.

I think eGo batteries are clearly "eGo-sized". Cigar, maybe.

If you compare a cigarette with a conventional (Bic) pen, they are very close in size. So, if someone says they want a "pen-sized" eCig, I think Blu / Magma / G6 /eRoll.

My go-to set up right now is a mini protank 3 (have 5 of them (like to switch flavors a lot)) on an ITaste VV v3. I use either 1.5 or 2.0 ohm coils and 7-8 watts.

That said, I don't get all the hate for cigalikes. On a fresh charge, a 2 ohm cartomizer loaded with decent juice gives me a perfect hit. Same volume and density as a cigarette, with equal throat-hit (assuming the right juice). What's wrong with that?

I guess I still have a lot to learn, but I've found my VV, eGo (non-vv), Vision spinners, and even my cigalikes to be perfectly satisfying- when charged, clean, and loaded with high-quality juice.

There are plenty of times where the cigalikes are what I end up sticking in my pocket on my way out the door. The only times I've regretted it was when they ran out of charge, but that was my fault for not making sure they had enough charge to get me through.

That is, in my experience, the only trade off for "pen-sized" ecigs, but even that can be overcome by making sure they are charged and/or carrying enough of them.

OP - get yourself a Magma Kit (I love mine), a G6 (if you're willing to use the funky thread pattern) or even a Blu, some quality, refillable cartomizers, and, most importantly, some quality juice. You'll be happy.
