Ok guys.... I think we really should drop the topic on airport security here as it can get a little sensitive by nature. Furthermore, one experience may differ with another but no one to mediate with a real info on what's going on at the airport. For the record, there are x-ray machines outside the gate hold rooms in the transit area for a reason. The fact: there are x-ray screening being done upon arrival in SG. Whether your flight will be affected by it or not, nobody knows.

Other than that, it's not like we are trying to test the effectiveness of those simply doing their jobs, or evaluate their performance in any ways. The safest thing is not to bring any in or out.

Seriously speaking (for me) not once i was scan with metal detector when i alight in SG. All was done when i was to abroad plane back (and for oversea, E cigg is not illegal). Just my hand held had to pass the Xray thats all..

That was my point. But he has a valid point also, if got spot check on specified flight then confirm GGWP. Just that something went wrong with his upbringing i guess.

I've done and said many stupid things in my life. In the end, I find that I might have meant well, but my choice of words and tone was offensive. There is also no right or wrong most times, just a difference of opinions. What holds me back from saying "sorry" is just pride.

I'll just say it as I see it.

Desmond meant well, and so did Gabriel. Gabriel might have used the wrong choice of words in the beginning, but Desmond was out of line too in questioning his upbringing. How about we all swallow our pride and give each other a smooch and make up.

before this is closed wanna share some related stuff

I was backed in sg last week, I didn't have any mod in my bag but there were tanks and juices all over in my checked in luggage (actually wanna bring back as much as possible of my stash as I look forward to relocate back sg for work). after claiming my bag at the belt, human traffic looks sparse as I walk towards green channel. Was halted and asked to scan all my bags, thought this time sure uplorry but went through and reached home with my stuff.

So I can say that checked in luggage or hand carry wise, as long we choose to vape here it is not safe and you are doing at your own risk. Be safe and good luck.
