I don't know what's in the juice you're vaping, but mine is VG and PG, and there's nothing in it that makes it "congeal". Both VG and PG have low enough vapor pressures at room temperature that evaporation overnight is negligible.

I live in a climate with high ambient temperatures and high humidity, it's bad enough with RDAs, with tanks it's even worse. Regardless, I much prefer the vape off an RDA where the wicks have been dried out prior to a period of not being used vs where they haven't been, especially with juices heavy on sucralose (which I avoid for that reason, along with excessive sweetness). YMMV. In any event, just my experience and opinions, hence the "IMO", take it or leave it. Not like it's mandatory :)

For me it's quite easy to know when to squonk usually vapor production goes down but the biggest sign for me is when flavor goes downhill. I do own the pulse squonk mod (pretty sure it's what op has)

Haven't had it for a long time but i didn't have any issues with leaking on my recurve rda as of now.
