I wonder which script they were reading from, sounds like pure ANTZ propaganda to me.
Agree ...
On the surface is does appear to be ANTZ propaganda, however, to me
it SCREAMS ... BP financial pressure. This video reminds me of what we
used to see in the past ... Not what we would expect to see in the news
on the air today.

It SCREAMS of the Old Days ...
When e-cigs were something new and little evidence to prove e-smoking
helps people quit smoking. Today Countless MILLIONS around the world
attest to the value of e-cigarettes and many scientific studies back-up
the OBVIOUS.

They didn't even do a good job at trying to sell the propaganda
This "pseudo" TV broadcast is a JOKE ... Even children would tilt their heads
because the truth is all over the Net, e-cigs are sold in stores, and commercials
airing on TV is a common place today.

Kinda-sorta reminds me of a Saturday Night Live spoof on what those opposed
to e-cigarettes would produce.

I left a comment on the station's Face Book page http://www.facebook.com/KIEMNewsChannel3

A misleading headline based on a study that wasn't a study. How did the results compare with those of people smoking tobacco cigarettes? Can't be answered because the researchers didn't look at that. They were anti-harm reductionists, only interested in finding something to use as a weapon against NRT's biggest competitive threat. BTW, in March, I will have been smoke-free for 4 years, thanks to switching to an e-cigarette. Oh, and my blood oxygen readings are excellent.

The guy specializes in addictions in general, all I could squeeze is he did lectures on a couple hard and less hard stuff (that I cant mention) causes and effects...so he is against everything basically.

Same old same old.

Cold turkey is their solutions.

I go to an addiction specialist (doctor) once a month for something (begins with H and ends with N) which I haven't done in over 200 days and 2 months ago I asked if he had heard of Electronic Cigarettes. He got a huge smile on his face and said "Yes, you use one?" I proceeded to show him my kGo (this was before I owned my ProVari and iHy) and explained to him about the PVs that don't look like analogs. He knew the truth about e-cigs and he was/is happy that I switched. He wants me to ween myself off but at the moment I don't plan to any time soon. I may switch to 16mg or 12mg at some point but that is off-topic.

My point is this guy in the video is a fraud. Any real addiction specialist understands that if quitting cold turkey won't work, harm reduction is the next best thing. It's not about what he would like his patient to do it's about what works for his patient because every individual is different. Some people can quit cold turkey, some people can use the patch (very few) some people can use a perscription drug, and, as I understand, the vast majority of people who quit analog cigarettes use PVs.
