The sultry perfume wafting your way from my delicate pulse point is a volatile organic substance. That wonderful smell of new-mown grass on a summer morn is a volatile organic substance. And, unfortunately, the formaldahyde-laden hot air exhaled by antz is a volatile organic substance.
