I have these symtoms(like a cold), on about the 3rd day of vaping. (2nd day of vaping real bad sore throat, but that disappeared). 7 days now with no analogs but still stuffed up.. Using 24 mg Wyatt Earp juice. Are these symptoms going to go away? I am getting a 20 mg(may even dilute that) e liguid from another supplier, since the 24mg seems too much. Think too much nicotene can cause the stuffyness? Or could it be the pg? I really doubt if it's a summer cold, if it is it will be my first cold in 5 yrs, but I guess I can't rule that out. Really worried, because I don't want to stop the e cig.:(

I've quit smoking more times than I can count and got sick as snot every time. The body is shedding all that kRaP clogging the respiratory tract, cilia that were dead still from tars are healing and pushing the garbage out. Expect to be sick as your body purges itself from the smelly addiction of inhaling burnt paper & seasoned chemically bathed tobacco. Vaping is clean. IMO the PG may even assist in combating some boogers lodged in the cilia.
Drink, drink, drink--- plenty of water to flush it out. Tough it out. You won't regret it weeks from now when your body adjusts to it's newly replenished tar-free cells in your respiratory system. I can run & a ride bike without getting short winded, I can swim under water holding my breath like I'm a kid again. Vaping set me free, I never want an analog again. You'll see-- Hang in there.

Hey congratulations, you're doing it right then. You're detoxing like YoshiMum said. No those symptoms are not immediately going away. I went to the dollar store and bought 4 boxes of kleenex and then had to go back for more. Besides my nose turning into a slow-dripping faucet, I had gunk in my eyes in the morning for the first month. So, celebrate, it's working. ;) And amen on the drinking of lots of water, brother. The Neti Pot helped me a lot -- $14.95 at WalMart. Happy vaping, and welcome to ECF.

The advice given is correct, and YoshiMum is spot on, you will get those symptoms, however, saying that, the sore throat, if its the glands either side of the throat, then reduce your nicotine a bit. Too high will cause the glands to complain very quickly..

If you dont have the urge to vape, then dont, follow what your body is telling you, it knows best..
