Ok have a change in status. My stuffiness has disappeared. Problem is I don't know why. I am still coughing up black gunk. I have dropped my water intake to about 4 liters a day (from about double that). Not on purpose but I was just unable to keep intaking that massive volume on a daily basis.

I am curious to read more about the allergy. I am wondering if that has bearing on me too. My problem is I don't know what was in the juice I was vaping previously. However, I am now using some Healthcabin and Dekang juices which, I beleive uses a mix of PG/VG. I can't wait till my DIY stuff arrives, it will be nice to be able to control what I am vaping.

You must be young. I'm jealous. If I drank that much water per day I would be up all night.

Lol, "you are only as young as you feel" :). I feel like I'm getting old but its all a matter of perspective. Just the other day I posted that I remembered Chris Farely and felt old. I had a conversation today with someone who was referencing an old local celebrity that I didn't know and I felt young.

Now I feel even worse! I remember Jack Benny when he had his own show on TV and I was also an official member of the Peanut Gallery.

<--Jeep chick too!
I need to figure out why vaping dries you out...seems backwards, "vaporizer" adds moisture doesn't it? I don't quite get that...
As DonG replied, the base liquids actually absorb water when you inhale. There is no doubt that vaping dries me out more than smoking ever will, but it doesn't bother me :). I can tell, but I don't stay dried out very quickly. If I stop vaping for 10 minutes, I'll be back to normal x)

after reading thus thread..glad I'm not the only one..cure for that..vape some menthol..lol

YES! One of my favorite flavors are menthol, and this is why. It doesn't ALWAYS effect my allergies when I vape, but it makes it twice as bad during drastic changes of weather. Menthol is perfect for this :)

Allergies. You can say you don't have them, but chances are it's them.

I have allergies, but not the kind you get from going outside and smelling pollen. I get them randomly. Sometimes when it rains or I take a shower. Sometimes when I wake up. Sometimes when there is no pollen outside, sometimes when there is pollen outside. It's hard to pinpoint what it is, but what I do know is cigarette smoke makes my allergies go insane since I quit.

Maybe it's that whole "your sense of smell and taste come back" thing people say. Idk...

Since my entire journey of vaping I've associated everything with my vaping.

My ears hurt? is it from vaping? my lungs hurt? is it from vaping? I have a flu? is it from vaping?

the only advice i can give is to give it a few weeks and it will be gone.
