They're blank so you gotta add juice, you can use em w/ the white plastic thing that comes w/ it or take that out w/ a safety pin and pop in a drip tip (tho I never rly got the point of that...u can't rly drip into a carto but I guess it's more comfortable or somethin). Idk what you mean by put a sleeve over em...they come in a lil condom which you can use to fill it, there's youtube videos on how to do it just search carto condom method.

Cartos without holes, yes, you just fill, after popping out the little white silicone plug, insert drip tip (or put the plug back in), attach to battery and vape.

But, yes, it sounds like you got tank cartos, which need to be in a tank (again, after removing the plug and filling) or they'll leak all over.

Isnt Smoktech cartos dual Coil? Are they black with a flat rubber tip? If so, they're the same as mine, so they're stand alone product. Just take Off the plastic tip, fill with juice making sure you're rotating the carto as you go and wait 30 before using to avoid burning them. I don't puncture them, they've been working for a week just fine. What are the advantages of a puncture carto?

I've used them like carto before without a tank and yes you can drip cartos and yes they had holes. The holes were made manual, not drilled and the carto deformed enough to not fit thru my tanks so I vaped it ( had already loaded it) thinking it might be a mess and it wasn't a leaky deal. I drip my tank cartos when I want a fresh blast of flavor and vapor. It slides down the sides missing the air hole. Save them for when you get a Pyrex tank some day! Heh heh

Simple!

Wrap the holes up with electrical tape and use it like a normal cartomizer. I do it all the time with punched cartos when I decide I don't like the juice enough to keep a tank filled.

If you don't have a tank, just cover the holes with electrical tape (not a lot, one "around" will do). Then drip 40+/- drops, and you're good to go! All you'll have to do is top off the carto every once in a while.

EDIT: You can't tell from the first photo because my phone camera sucks, but it IS a flanged carto. To be exact, it is a single-hole, single-coil 2.0 ohm Smoktech XL replacement cartomizer. Whew, a mouth full!

Yes, if it's not too late, contact your vendor.

Or better yet, get a tank to go with them! With a tank, you don't have to top off your cartos. The inhalation creates a vacuum that sucks juice back in and keeps your carto's polyfill wet.

When I ordered my first carto tank, I had no idea what I was supposed to do with it. I had never used a carto before, much less a carto tank. My first mistake was not priming the carto with enough drops. So I immediately assumed cartos were crap.

I got a Vision ViVi Nova, because I kept hearing how awesome they were. Unfortunately, I fell into the camp who just couldn't stand them. I ended up giving away my ViVi Nova. It just wasn't my thing, 'nuff said.

But when my B&M store taught me how to prime and fill carto tanks, it was like a light from heaven shined down upon me. For the first time I could taste my juice without having to drip!

Carto tanks are the bizomb.

I know RBA's will be my next step as a vaper. I'm eager to begin this new leg of my journey.

I'm thinking I could so something similar with my cartos that flood due to too many punched holes...

Seth Daddy! Always glad to see you post.

I have five or six of these lying around. I just top them off every once in a while. They aren't flavors I vape constantly, just something different when I want something outside of my normal rotation. I forgot to mention, the flange won't let you use an eGo cone.

I was worried my Boba's would be too thick for the regular smoktech single-hole cartos, but my trusty little carto punch tool worked perfectly.

Seth, how is the RBA stuff coming along? My friend Leroy should be getting his either tomorrow or Monday. An AGA-Tiamat or something like that. Kanthal wire and SS mesh. I'm going to let him do all the experimenting.
