For the most part there are no special features.

There are however differences in the gauge wire used, number of wraps, spacing between wraps, amount of wicking used, amount of airflow provided, and amount of juice flow provided.


There are two notable exceptions though. The Freemax Starre and Uwell Crown both have dual parallel wrapped coils. That means that rather than a single wire there are two wires running side by side in the coil.

    All of those devices are similar......... The differences between some of the coil heads are that some provide larger juice flow ports and others provide larger airflow ports........ The coil heads with the larger juice flow ports will allow folks to use thicker juices with a high VG content and will not experience dry hits and the wicks will stay good and saturated. The coil heads with larger airflow ports will provide a more airy draw and produce more vapor and larger clouds.

    Also, the sizes of the coils vary a bit between different coil heads.
