Sub ohm dripper, needing help not sub ohming

I drip, box mod, rda, most my builds are around 0.15 ohms. I'm very good at this. Now my problem, I've FINALLY got my wife to agree to a rta. I'm sick of buying kanger coil heads for her since she's still in love with the protank. To each their own I know and agree. Just with my coil building knowledge and abilities, I hate throwing away money. I've got her a fogger v4.1 and as a guess, some 30g kanthal (I love nichrome personally ) need a 1.5 -2.0 ohm build for this. Going on a mvp 2.0. Any help?

Edit: I also make most my own juice. But at a min of 90% vg. She likes my flavors, what chances are there of that thick of a juice feeding the a fogger?

Another edit: what if I center a parallel coil instead of 2 single coils in that rta? Split the wick at both ends into the 4 holes. Maybe better wicking? Downside is its a touch further to travel thru the wick.

I can build the best, most complex, cloud builds you've ever seen. But rta's are extremely new to me. So excuse any ignorance on my part here. Thanks folks.

I haven't tried a Fogger, but do use a somewhat similar Orchid V4. I found the dual coils for them to be unnecessary, so I plugged one of the airholes and two of the juice channels. They vape beautifully, great flavor and clouds with a simple single coil, 30ga kanthral, 2.0 ohms, wicked with rayon at about 9 watts, plus or minus a watt depending on the flavor of the juice.

Don't know about the fogger but I have a Lemo and run 90/10 VG juice through it with no problems. 1.2 ohm build single coil 30 gauge kanthal with the wraps not touching each other....I've heard that with the coils not touching it will wick higher VG juices better.

I used Nautilus's before on my MVP2 and they worked fine...but as you stated I was always buying new coils...

I have not tried the Lemo on my MVP yet but it works like a boss on my old DNA30 box mod.

:vapor:

Edit: I think I saw a youtube video on rebuilding the coils for the Protank....just a thought

Probably should have gone with a Kayfun, Taifun or Lemo if intended to be used on a MVP.

Given the amp limit of the MVP dual coils are a bit of a challenge.

Ditto, a Kayfun is the way to go for this situation.... Easy to build and very reliable...Not to mention the clones available are cheap, plentiful, and very reliable...

I don't see any way to center a build on the fogger, as it has two off-center air intake holes. Securing the leads on the v4 is kind of a pain (not terrible, but takes some finesse), so I see a parallel build being especially difficult.

I've stopped using tanks, but I had good luck with with 10-13 wraps of 30ga around 14ga needles, which is about 2.11mm. Checking with steam-engine, 12/13 wraps with that set-up (30ga, dual coil, 2.108mm ID) should put you at 1.5 ohms.

To get up to 2 ohms, you might need 32ga. I think you'll just have to experiment with different builds, see what works for her, and what she likes (and doesn't like) about the builds you've done. I also dremeled out the airholes in my Fogger, maybe 50% larger, and removed the AFC ring. But I like lung-hits and cool vapes, personally.

ETA: On an MVP2 with 11 watts, getting a fogger working well might be a tall order. I would shoot for the minimum resistance it will fire (1.2 ohms, maybe?), to minimize the amount of wire you need to heat up, if you're sticking with 30ga.
