I understand the concept. Somewhat. How does this affect resistance? With duals, one builds identical ohmed coils and then splits the ohms in half of one coil to come to the total ohms of the build. Is it the same or different for a sleeper? I would think that it would be an overall reading. Slightly confused and trying to fully understand.
same concept resistance would be split in half.... It is literally the same exact thing because the wire will be connected in a central point (pos post) and connected to two different grounds. (neg post) When I do sleepers they measure out within .01 to .02 ohms of what the same coils would be as separate coils.
Edit: Although it is one strand it has two different paths the current can flow through thus splitting the resistance in half
