In your opinion what is the best overall Sub ohm tank????

thats exactly what I been windowshopping all day for so far. Been trying to find a good tank that can handle 80+watts. The arctic is the only one I found so far, but it doesnt come with an RDA section, so the search continues. Runner up is subtank mini V2 atm.

I have been using the Herkales, Huge juice holes with i think 8 juice entry points, Pre built coils - .2 and .6 kanthal for wattage, .15 nickel/kanthal for Temp Control. Both are Parallel config. For wattage mode, easily hits 100W for with room to go higher depending on juice with the .6, 75W+ with the .2, TC mode can hit 50W/J prob more but that's where my mod maxes out. Large Bore drip tip. 4 airhole's with varying sizes, with an ajustable Air Flow Control ring with two openings so that makes 5 dual open config, so you can have little airflow, to completely open.

Freemax Starre is rated up to 100W. However, like the Arctic it doesn't come with an RDA section.

Watch this. He compares the Starre to the Arctic in the first 1 minute of the video.

i ended up getting an arctic yesterday. It just seemed like the best option and seemed to be the best performing at higher wattages. Im actually going to try rebuilding the first coil I go through after it dies out on me and see how it goes. The tank just looks super clean and I liked how it has a 0.2ohm option and found out that ni-200 coils are out also for it.

So far im loving it. 0.2ohm btdc @ 80 watts, 1-2 second pulls with massive vapor. I am really surprised, I can take a 4-5 second drag at 80 watts also without dryhits which is just unbelievable for a tank.

May I ask what Coil is there if any for the arctic for temperature control? Or do the .02 have Nickel already in?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

theyre 0.2 nickel builds. Theyre called ni-200 coils. I got mine from sweet-vapes, the only other 2 vendors I saw who have them now is vapordna (out of stock last time i checked) and elementvape (only sells them single not 5pack). They seem fairly new so most other vendors dont have them in stock yet.

My vote always goes to the Subtank Plus and I've ran it at 50 watts at times. I have a good friend with a Zepharus that runs in the 65 watt range. He's using the rba but again, it doesn't come with. If money isn't a problem, the erlkonigin is supposed to be awesome.
Had to comment here, the zephyrus has been my favorite tank and comes with the rba base. Works great and for under 30 bucks with the airflow and DC rba it was a no brainer for me. I had purchased an Arctic but was able to return it right after they came out. I had issues (could have been defective) but I wasn't looking to run that high of wattage so my Batts would last longer. Good luck with the search as there are tons of options out now.

Besides my RDA I only have 2 sub tanks. The Horizon Scion which came with .6 ohm quad coils which I am having difficulty finding nowadays. It's the predecessor to the Arctic. Good flavor and vape but somewhat restricted airflow. Got an Eleaf Melo the other day with .5 ohm coils and I love it. Great airflow and produces lots of vape and great flavor. I usually drip 12-16 ml nic but 6 ml will absolutely make me sick in the Melo. Overall a good tank at a good price.

Funny you mention vacation.

So there I am in in Gettysburg lost in the civil war. When what do I spy? Gettysburg Vapes. Wonderful store.

Picked up a Sigelei Elite. It came with a nickel coil. Put it on a TC mod and fired off some 20/80 at 50 warts.

What a great tank. Two big thumbs up. I 'M gonna try and get a pack of nickel coils in the morning.

I'm a RTA guy but I can get used to this soft living.
