V (in volts) = I (current in amps) x R (resistance in Ohms)
Power (in Watts) = V (voltage in volts) x I (current in amps).
All other factors being unchanged, lowering the resistance of your coil will result in more Power. This will result in heating the coil quicker, which typically results in more and warmer vapor, assuming wicking and airflow are adequate for that power level.
If your wicks can't deliver enough liquid quickly enough to the coil, or your atomizer isn't delivering enough fresh air to cool the hot coil, you may get burnt-tasting hits, which is typically considered "worse" flavor.
