Hi everyone, I just received my subtank mini and put the rba on it. the package said it came with 2 .5 pre-wrapped coils with one already in place. I put the wick in it and it is reading 1 ohm on my evic vtc mini. I have it in power mode and it reads my stock coils well. I guess my question is Why is it reading 1 instead of -5. ?

Make sure your coil screws are in tight, they're very easy to loosen up without realizing it, even tend to do it on their own over time in the STM. Loose screws will usually lead to an increased resistance reading at first. Also make sure the deck itself is tight enough in the airflow base, if it's not making good contact with the pin in there it'll lead to the same thing. Though you'd probably notice leaking if it was loose enough to impact that electrical connection.

The installed coil for the RBA deck should be .5 as well as the extra one in the bag. Here's what happened with mine, it may not be what is going on with yours.
My center post that connects to the RBA airhole below the coil, came loose and was giving me false readings. On the deck you have two posts where the coil screws are. The "L" shaped one that floats on top of the insulator is what the center airflow pin screws to. It has like two threads for the center post to grab. Over-tightened and the center pin has a hard time making contact with the airflow-control base pin. I ordered two new decks and they work fine. Again, this may not be what's happening to you but you can troubleshoot.
