Single coil tanks are tricky in my opinion, for what I prefer.
But to go off how the stock heads perform, I'd sudjest trying 26g kanthal at 2.5mm inertia diameter with 8 or 9 wraps (which ever is closest to 1ohm). And from there start at 25w and work up till it's "just right"

The wire prebuilt in the rda is nichrome (80 grade I beleive?) 26g I think, but it has different heating characteristics than kanthal. I personaly don't mind it, but rather use kanthal.

If your Destin to use the 24g, try a 2.5mm or 3mm diameter rod and try to build to .6 or .7 resistance. From there start at 30w and work your way up to your preference.

I run 26g 6 wraps with 2mm ID contact coil at 23w. I tuck the cotton down into the juice well, wet it and slightly pull it off of the juice channels. In my experience, the rba does not work very well too much above 25w with high vg juice due to the limited space a lack of juice flow. This is also in the v1 deck.

So, I finally gave up and I had a spare rba base. I put that one in it and so far so good no burmt taste. It was either a coil issue/ hot leg or it is a burnt insulator.
Does anyone know what gauge wire the rba base comes installed with?

Noted above, the pre-installed coil is 26g nichrome NOT kanthal
