Hey guys,

so I always build 0.5 ohm coils without any problems but last night my old post screws
wouldn't let me trap the leads (made another thread about this) and I had to change
them out. Then, I made a coil that vaped good and stuck at a 0.5 ohms resistance.

Today, I walked a bit, vaped and now my resistance is at 0.4 ohms, no dry hits, etc.
So I was wondering if I should worry about this.. not the first time it happens to me
with my 0.5 coils, any of you guys know why this happens? Any fix?

Thanks alot :p

A variation of 0.1 Ohms Isn't really something to worry about.

You might check to make sure that the Coils Screws are Tight. But like I said, 0.1 isn't much of a Fluctuation.

It's what I read about too.

I hope all goes for the best like always.

Would you happen to know what is the size of these screws? I wanted to get spares since the old ones
are no longer working :(

I can take a Look.

Did your Subtank come with an Extra Set?

Thanks, you too :p

I saw that this size of screws is usually for laptops. Anyway I just asked Kanger about it.. Hope they respond someday :)

M2x3mm is a "Standard" Metric Thread Form. Nothing fancy about that. But as I recall, the Head Diameter of the Kanger Screws might be a Tad Smaller than a "Standard" Pan Head. The Head of the Kanger Screws is also Very Flat on the Underside.

You might just want to Roll the Dice for $3.42 on these if you can't find Anyone who sells them.

M2 x 3mm - Qty 10 - Stainless Steel Phillips Pan Head Machine Screws DIN 7985 A

I've bought things from this seller before and I have never had Any problems.

BTW - The More I look at the Kanger Screws, a "Wafer" head screw might work better...

Screw Set Pack of 12 Wafer Head Machine M2x3mm 2x3L PM2x3 Laptop Notebook Silver

... because the Underside of the Screw should be completely Flat.

But the Head Diameter might be Bigger than what will fit into the Wire Slot on the RBA Deck. And Making the Head Diameter Small for such a Small Screw would be a PITA.

Cool :p

Did you use them for the same purpose?

Amazon sells the M2 X 3mm at a fair price too :p

The Screws that I got from that Seller actually went on a Clone RDA. Because the Silly Designer couldn't seem to Realize that Not everyone uses 24ga Wire for their Coils. So the Screws that the Clone Made used weren't Long Enough.

I see. Trusted manufacturers should give out that info to people.. Really a PITA to get spares.

Yeah... Getting spare screws or O-rings kind be a Pain.

And it Ticks me Off to Hunt Down some 1/4 Cent Screw that the OEM could include when you bought it. At least Kanger made an Effort and included 2 Extra's. As well a Second set of Seals.

For sure :p

I got the v2 so I don't have extra O Rings but I can find them anywhere for cheap.. Anything RBA gotta buy a new
RBA at 10$ a pop..

Yeah... I kinda cringe sometimes buying Screws or O-Rings because by the Time I find them, and pay a Few Bucks for Shipping, I'm not that for away from this...
