I'm using the rba deck. With the coil that it originally came with. Reading at 0.6 ohms. Im using a istick 30. vaping @ 15 watts. If I go above 20. It starts spitting. Maybe I'm wicking it wrong? What's the correct way to wick? Also if I want to wrap my own coils. I don't know where to start. My first rta/rba ever. I've read up on ohm laws. I would prefer a 0.5 ohm build. I'm totally new to this. I started with an atlantis tank.

Sometimes "Spitting" is caused when there is a small Air Pocket(s) in the wick. Taking a pair of Tweezers and Gently pulling the wick back and forth can sometimes Help.
Sometimes just Fluffing the ends of the Wick with a Needle or a Pin works also.
It can also be caused by your wick absorbing more juice than it can vaporize and pretty much boiling the remainder. Try wicking it tighter to start.
Also, what ratio is the juice you're using? Thinner juices will wick too fast.
With the version 1 it would would do that if there was too much tail on the wick and it sat on the air hole. I had this problem myself.

Had the same problems with kanger subtanks, even using the OCC coils. I sidelined them and moved on to different products. 50-50 juice would cause excessive snap-crackle-pop, thicker VG dry hits with rebuildable deck or OCC coils.
I have exactly the same setup and have had a similar problem. I recently started using Japanese cotton (Koh Gen Do) with DIY unflavored -liquid. Haven't had the popping/spitting problem since. There are videos on YouTube showing how to wick using the Japanese cotton. You might want to check those out if you haven't already.
