As an ex pack-a-day smoker, I was a bit apprehensive about taking a 3-day trip to Las Vegas with "the guys". Ashtrays everywhere, smoldering analogs in everyone's hand, not a "No Smoking" sign to be found.

I'm proud to say that I made the entire trip without even being tempted. The e-cig was a big hit, plenty of people asking about it (where to get one, how does it compare, etc.) Yes, I did find myself making a few runs back to the hotel room to swap batteries on the charger, but I never missed analogs.

I wish I'd found these years ago! :D

Wow, good job!

I don't think I could do a Vegas trip without an analog and they taste terrible to me now
Sure you could. I live here and I've been analog free for14 months. :D

There is a smoking everywhere kiosk at the outlet mall on Las Vegas Blvd South. That's the only one I've seen selling here. There may be others in the shops at the hotels but I havn't been in them for a while.
Oh, and I've been in and out of airport security with the ecig and juice in a carry on with no questions asked.

No problems with security. I ran the cig case through with my shoes, belt, keys and dignity. No one took a second glance. Somewhere on this forum is a post by a TSA officer indicating e-cigs are not a banned item. I never even thought about trying to sneak a puff on the plane though.

I'd pack enough supplies to get you through the weekend. The only vendor I saw was a Smoking Everywhere kiosk outside the Fashion Mall near the Wynn. SE is compatible with my RN4081, but the kid wanted $25 for a box of 5 cartridges. Fortunately, I brought about 15 pre-filled carts with me.

I took my Janty stick V2 with me on a 2 week trip tour of Canada. In a pouch I carried extra liquid, attys, carts and batteries.

I was too chicken to carry it on to the plane for fear that it would be taken away so I put it in my checked luggage.

I was so glad that I had it with me on the trip, it made it so much more enjoyable!

The group I was with did not smoke, but they were curious as to what it was and said that they were going to recommend to to friends and family.

I vacation in Vegas quite often (I’m pretty sure I helped fund MGM's Aria ) but this will be my first trip smoke-free (hopefully). I tend to chain-smoke when I drink and therefore have been avoiding the local pubs since I started vaping.

I stocked up on plenty of supplies and was hoping I wouldn’t raise any eyebrows through security (I’m going carry-on only as well).

I’ll keep my eyes open for any e-cig sales, at reasonable prices, just in case...:D
