I bought a njoy Npro from 7-11 a few weeks back, and burned (literally) through 7 of the crappy njoy cartomizers. These cartos are total garbage. Do not buy the refills!
After giving myself throat and lung damage from burnt wick/filler/plastic cartridge, I decided to pick up some cartos from the mall (smoke free brand). After about 20 pulls, they too began to smoke. I refilled the cartos a couple times, but continued to get burnt filler smoke in my vapor. BAD.
I pulled off the cap and gently pulled out the filler while being careful not to damage the tube (that stays in). Then, using the CART ALU mod found here, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/173753-cart-mod-ptvapers-community.html , I rolled a similar tin foil broom using a strip of aluminum 7/8inch by 6inch.
Here's the tricky part. You have to roll it just right so that not only it fits the carto, but also fits around the tube in the middle. I used a toothpick and a flash light to gently guide it around the tube. I put the broom part facing down, towards the bottom of the cart (not sure if it should be reversed?).
The top of the tin foil broom needs to be roughly the same height as the middle tube so that the plastic washer and cap still fit.
So far I've filled it three times using about 10 drops each fill, and it vapes near perfect with zero burning from the filler.
Pain in the .... to get it in right, but it's worth it. I wonder just how long this single cartomizer will last. It's vaping better than I ever expected from this cheapo 7-11/mall rig. Edit: Oh, and NO LEAKING.
