Hey echofinder, this may be of particular interest to you since you're finding your juice too thin when mixing with the Nature's Flavors Butterscotch at a high percentage.
I took Bovinia's advice and decided to evaporate off some of the alcohol. Only I went way overboard. I placed 50 mls of the 3X Butterscotch in the microwave for a short period and then placed the glass measuring cup that it was in into a hot water bath. After about 30 minutes it looked like about 10 mls had evaporated off. So I repeated this process two more times. However, after the last time that I did this I left it alone for a little over two hours. Unfortunately (or fortunately...depending on the unknown final outcome at this point) ALL of the alcohol had evaporated off and I had a somewhat crystal mess at the bottom.
So I added some more of the Butterscotch flavoring and warmed it up and everything came back into solution. So I bottled that right up and I currently have about 22 mls @ a little over 3X the already 3X supplied flavor. But...if I had to do it over again, I would have reconstituted the crystals in some PG.
So right now I have some Super Concentrated NF's Butterscotch (or at least that's what I'm hoping that I have). I'll take at crack at mixing something up tomorrow and post a followup when I finally have something.
BTW, I gave the tea bags to my wife. I'm quite happy with Tetley's.
