Hello, I am from the NWT, Canada, and my wife bought an E Cig from the internet in an attempt to stop smoking cigarettes. I've read the warnings here about these "trial" offers, and she is going to cancel the order.

We already have the cigarette, and at least it has convinced her that these Electronic cigarettes are better than real ones. The problem is, the darn thing broke. The little heating wire inside stopped heating, and I judge it's due to a loose connection. Also, I took it apart to see how it works-AFTER it stopped working, and it's really not ever going to work again now! The battery is charged, and I connected the little nichrome wire directly to the battery, and it glowed, so I am sure there was a broken connection in there when it suddenly stopped working.

Anyway, how can I get her set up with a better one? I was glad she liked it and had totally stopped smoking real cigarettes for about a week before this thing broke. I would like to order her a new one. How should I proceed? I would love some advice if there are any Canadians here who would be willing to help. I really need her to stop smoking real cigarettes, and this looked like it was going to work.

Thanks

Kermit... there are some tips posted in this thread on getting out of the contract with these 'free trial' companies. Perhaps they may be of help to you (read post#28)...

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/65772-do-not-order-free-trials.html

As far as ordering another kit... If you order from any of the suppliers listed at the bottom of the home page here on ECF, you will have a 'safe' transaction (no traps).
You will need to do a little research on which model to get, but I think if you order a 510 starter kit (for under $50) from any of those suppliers you will be off to a good start.

Thanks for the reply,

We do need to get out of that contract, or at least it would be nice if they could send us another atomizer, so she can use the product she already paid for. :(

The Joye 510 looks like a good product, but here's another question, the supplier, "Happy Vaper", says none of their liquids contain any nicotine. How come? Isn't this part of the process? Is liquid WITH nicotine available in Canada?

Hi Kermit, welcome to the forum and good luck in getting your wife off the cigs. I started vaping a few weeks ago and so far (except for a couple of cheap knock off e-cigs from deal extreme) have used exclusively Canadian suppliers. Check the Canadian supplier thread in the Canadian forum. Vapables sells the nicotine liquid, and has fast efficient shipping. For the hardware, I've used Happy Vaper and Electronic Cigz, both great companies with quality products.

Good luck!
