Edit: krash...I just have to say...I love that pic....it reminds me of my childhood...we had a siamese and 2 english setters (even if that's not exactly what yours is, it looks just like Sarge....he was such a good dog).....

Keelalagirl, that's my Elvis when he was a puppy, and Iggy the meezer when he was an old man. :) Elvis is a Brittany - a bit smaller, and a pointer, not a setter, but pretty close in build and color. Elvis is 9 now, a bit white around the face but still beautiful, and an all-around good dog. Iggy passed a couple years ago - I still miss him and his constant complaining. He came as a package deal with my husband who had rescued him as a tiny kitten, but he was my cat by the end. The last year or so of his life, all he wanted to do was sit on my lap, and if my lap wasn't available he would follow me around hollering at me - couldn't get anything done, so I carried him around in a baby sling so I could have my hands free. Took three cats to replace him, and I'm still on the lookout for another siamese - turns out I miss being cussed out in cat language! :)

As annoying as it is, you just fall in love with it....I love the sound of the siamese chatter!

Well...Elvis is still a beauty....and typically (from my experience) mixes are sooo much better in that they get the best of both breeds:)
Before we had the 2 setters, we had one of them (Peg) and an English Pointer (Candy)...The pointer was great, but she was bull headed. We got Sarge before rehoming Candy, but not before both the girls got preggy....at one point we hat 21 dogs which resulted in no backyard....dirt and tunnels....Once the pups were sold, we found a home for Candy too....They were for hunting, but they were great pets too....Candy went to a trainer and I believe she eventually helped him in training hunting dogs....

lulabee, I'm "set up", all right... in fact I'm set up for about 4 people right now!

And Nevadabadgirl, I agree - at this point not smoking is truly priceless - and I'm running at least triple my analog cost...

Jamvector, I really didn't have any illusions that it was cheaper - I used a blucig kit for about a month before switching to V4L, not only was that expensive, but I was still smoking on top of it, so there *really* wasn't any savings. I do expect that it will even out in the long run, and if it doesn't, I'm ok with that. I figured from the beginning that if I was going to succeed in leaving the cigarettes behind it would be expensive. I just hope that by the time the new-ness factor wears off, I'll have settled into a few flavors that I can happily rotate, as I'm convinced that I've found the right hardware for now.

I am ordering to get myself set up too...I would rather have too much stuff than too little. I am running really close on juices and cartos right now and I don't want that to EVER happen again. I hate to think of how much money I have spent at other "stop smoking" ventures. This one is MUCH more fun. I didn't have any illusions of cost either...I think once I have built up a "collection" and find out exactly what I like, I will settle down a bunch....

But in the meantime, shop and vape on!

Think about how much money we are NOT contributing to big tobacco!! I would love to see Steve, Mark and the entire crew of V4L get filthy rich and invite us to their posh corporate crib for a massive gnarly vaping bash two years from now - Mark your calendars all, V4L, start planning now!

I so wish they would!!!

My mother just asked me today if I was saving any money... I told her to ask me again in July or August, I may break even by then!

I was good, though, and let the latest sale go by without buying anything. My new self-imposed rule is that I actually have to receive the previous purchase before I can place another. (We won't talk about the fact that my cart is already loaded and waiting.....)
