I would like to try a carto instead of cart but I don't like how fiddly it is to refill. With a cart I can just remove the cap, add a few drops then im ready to vape. However, I do have to do this at least 3-4 times per day. How many times would I have to do this with a carto?

A standard size carto will hold about 20 drops of juice, so you probably would only have to top it off once or twice a day after the initial fill.

Just be sure to get plenty juice in there on the first fill so that it doesn't burn the filler.

Also, get a drip tip to replace the little white cap that comes with the carto. Makes it much easier to just pop off the drip tip than to pry the cap off with a paper clip.

To add to Bozzlite's comments, if you are filling a brand new carto, let it sit for a good 15 minutes after filling to let the juice really soak in and fill the wick and polyfill. This will guarantee that the carto is properly primed and won't give you a harsh burnt first hit. SOAK! SOAK! SOAK!

For the atomizer part of the discussion: If you're hitting it a lot and getting nothing, you're just heating the coil. It stresses the coil. When the coil breaks, the atty is dead. Need a new one. That's assuming the connection problems discussed above are not the issue.

Make sure you are getting enough juice to the atty. If it's a clear plastic cart with a small hole in the end...increase the size of the hole with a toothpick or something. Make sure the juice is getting to the atty. You can also put a drop of juice right on the metal post in the center of the atty (the bridge).
