Suction noise with the F17 Boge cartomizer .

Hello,

I recently acquired the F17 cartomizer from Boge.
With theTribeca from Halo – 1.8% nicotine - the hit is really surprising and excellent, much better than with my Vision Victory tank clearomizers.

I would be very happy if there wasn’t this problem, the noise!
The aspiration produces a hard sound like a hiss or a crackle.
This suction noise is very unpleasant, for me as well as for people surrounding me.
For information, I am using a Vision Spinner 1300 battery and I added a ring adapter for aesthetic, before screwing the F17.

Did you also experiment this noise problem with a Boge carto?

N.B. I also own the bigger model – the Boge F16 – but I still have to test it.

The sounds you describe are pretty much normal with most cartos. I’ve found Boge’s to put out the most sound – sizzle and crackles and an occasional pop are routine. The volume of the sound will vary from carto to carto, but it’s always there. Personally I enjoy hearing the sounds, but I do avoid using them when on the phone at work since the sound is picked up clearly.

While any carto I’ve used puts out more sound than a clearomizer, the smok cartos tend to be a bit more on the quiet side, but not as flavorful as a Boge. Kanger horizontal coil cartos are also a bit more on the quiet side. But some level of sound is unavoidable when using a carto in a tank.

So, this is normal with cartos and I am not the only one with this effect.

After a few days using the Boge carto, I have to say this "noise" is finally pretty, it sounds like a cracking fire.
In this cold season, this is psychologically a good point.

checking it with smok and boge cartos. they all crackle, pop, or hiss when drawing. Also, some juices cause the pop or cracking. ive noticed this with thicker juices/mixtures I have been running. Sometimes those pops produce extra flavor.

Be mindful... if you start to get a gurgle (youll know because you can feel it on your draw) it tells me that the tank that flooded out the bottom of the carto and i need to detach, clean, and blow some air through the carto to clear out the excess juice. This happens primarily when I refill the tank.
