I have used all different kinds of Vg juices in my protank for weeks.

Got CC Houseblend today and I was like wow just found my new adv.

1 tank later got a STRONG burnt taste . So I throw away my head pop in a brand new one. No more than half a tank later same problem???

I tried 1 wick, 2 wicks, rubber spacer on/off.

I have been vaping vg juices for weeks with protanks no burnt issues. Why would this suddenly happen ?

The house blend is amazing should I just get a dripping atty?

What do the coils look like when you take the head off? Could it possibly be the coils getting gunked/caramelized? That would cause a burning taste. Sweet and sugary flavors tend to do that. (never had any cc juices) Never having these juices I don't know whats in them if they are sweet or not or if they could naturally be coil gunking juices.

The first one I removed did look really black and gunked up. The second new one I took out after a tank ran it under water looked better but started having the problem really soon after.

It is sweet/caramel type tobacco. I think I am experiencing dry hits for the first time ever but I had the top wick removed

Sometimes when that happens to me I lower the voltage or watts and it doesn't burn anymore, after a while I can put them higher again.

+1

I've also found that different juices require different voltage settings. But it seems even more prevalent with the Pro tank. As of this point I have gone up to 4.3v, but found that I get the most consistent Vapes at 3.9v. No burnt taste at all with any of the juices I have so far and I still get a really good amount of vapor. Good luck.

Dry pull once. Maybe twice. Experiment which works best. I flood pro tanks really easily with dry pulling, though, with a wick removed.

Or, pull harder when you draw. I've recently started having to do this. Same juice on my end, just not wicking worth a damn anymore.

The juice you're using may just be an atty gunker. A lot of them are, some flavorings just don't get along well with atties.

I for some reason forgot to mention that I was getting occasional burnt hit. But this has happened only with one specific juice. The other 10 juices have given me no problem. I just flipped the cups on all of my heads and I get more flavor, and I was able to go from 3.8v to 3.9v with no burned hits on that specific juice.

I believe that the cup seals are choking the flavor wicks from what I've experienced.
