Hi, I've just recently started experimenting with DIY and went with Natures Flavors (coffee and caramel cream) but am definitely missing a sweetness that I was used to with Virgin Vapors... So my question is, what are my options for adding real sweetness?

Seen info about some of these...

Ethyl Maltol (processed)
Sucralose (artificial)
Stevia (funny taste)

My reservations with each of those are parenthesized, and Virgin Vapors says that their distinct sweetness actually comes from sugar.

Any comments on this?

I just found these Natures Flavors options containing sugar, but still "coffee / tea" flavoring as suggested in another DIY thread on this forum...

Organic Toffee Coffee and Tea Flavor without Diacetyl

Anyone here have experience with this topic?

Would love to hear from you. :)

I put brown sugar on my ham to caramelize but I don't think I would want the same thing to happen to my coils. I used to add sweetener to my juices but I personally think it made my coils gunkie faster so I stopped using it. This is of course only my observation. Just my 3¢(inflation) Good luck to you and happy mixing.

I've read several threads on here as well about adding Sweeteners to juices and which to use. I think its personal bias and up to you to decide which you like best. Why not try each and see which you like and how each affects your vaping experience!

I'm going to be buying some Sucralose to make a diluted solution of sweetener, I'll let you know how it goes if you'd like!

Actually I have my supply of diluted sucralose on a kitchen counter: my wife uses it for cooking, I use it for juices. Its taste is identical to sugar (in contrast to funny taste of stevia). By the way sweetness of sucralose it 300-1000 times of that of sugar; so you'll have correspondingly less coil gunking.
