I go with 7.5 watts, Jane over to the left there likes 6.5 watts, and Bob down there, well he likes 10 watts

It is all subject to your personal taste and will vary from flavor to flavor and possibly from day to day, this is why everyone suggests VV/VW devices now and all of the manufacturers are making so many varieties of them.

Hope this clears it up some

Also, just to clarify something: with a VV/VW device, you cannot set the voltage AND the wattage. Wattage is directly related to the voltage and resistance; so you can set voltage OR wattage. For a 1.8Ω coil, setting the voltage to 3.7V will result in 7.6W. If you set the wattage to 7W, the device will adjust the voltage to give you 7W, which in this case would be 3.5V.

Hey guys, I've looked at graphs and chose where to set my itaste to based on what I read, but was wondering what everyone else prefers. I'm using a 1.8ohm aspire tank with an itaste v3, and currently have it set to 3.7 volts and 7 watts.

What will produce the most amount of vapor without that burnt taste?

Aspire is a 1.8 ohm DUAL COIL head. The power is being "split" between TWO coils or heating elements. You will need to up the watts to get more warmth and TH. Because it is dual coil, it is basically like using a 3.2 ohm single coil.

With the Aspire, I set the watts between 11 - 12 watts (roughly 4 - 5 volts). No burning at all, just nice warm vapor.

I'm using the Aspire (just got it this morning and I'm drooling over it so bad, I'll need a shop vac to clean up the mess.. Yes I'm lovin it that much) on a Zmax V5 I have my watts set at 8 and the vapor is perfectly nice sweet and warm.... Sooo yummy!!! So yeah, everyone likes it a little different.... Also, I was happy to see Nuclear explain the watts OR voltage thing ... Lots of people try to adjust both and that just doesn't work :)

Good luck finding your sweet spot..... Ohhh and BTW I've used the Itaste v3 for the last 3ish months... (Love it) I always used mine between 6.5 and 8 just depending on the taste on the juice.... And always using protanks 1&2

I have been using the iTaste VV/VW with a Protank mini v2 using 2.5ohm coil at about 7.0-7.5 watts. As mentioned above it does seem to vary depending on juices I use. Some of the more savory juices (five pawns) I use a lower wattage and get great taste and a dense cloud and on some of my lighter juices (Space Jam) I have to bump it up a tad.

I'm wishing for an iTaste v3. Should I get one, I shall check back here for review.

my vote would be YES..... I had two I was using, charge one as I used one... a charge would easily last me a day and a half... but I admit I'm a lite vapor, like 1-1.5 ml per day.... I'd still be using them but the hubby liked them and said if I'd give him mine he'd stop smoking..... soooo I gave him mine... :)

I always used protank minis on mine... love the set up .. looks great and does a great job...

Good luck deciding :)
