Just ordered my first mechanical mod Sentinel m16 with patriot atty from fast tech. I did not order batteries there as i was confused which one to buy. After searching for days on the net, im still not sure which one to buy if i want to use sub ohm coils like 0.6ohm. Can anyone suggest me some reliable batteries?

Thanks :)
(Why don't most sellers ship to india? )

Oh never mind: they don't ship internationally. :(

Oh well for everyone else:

Randy at RTD Vapor, that's all you need to know. :) All the specs on the batts are written out and you will NOT get any fakes, and you will get the best service. Questions answered quickly in emails, and he will get out his calipers and measure stuff for you.........whatever you need. :)

I am just so confused about this. I ordered my mod and ore wrapped 0.6ohm coils because i am mostly on the go and can not wrap most of the times. But i am not at all sure about the batteries. Someone suggested me MXJO IMR 35a high drains. And there is this pegasus vapor academy on youtube i saw his videos and now im even more confused
Can anyone please tell me what battery to use on 0.6ohm coils that won't explode in my face.
I am gonna order some 1.0+ ohm coils too.

And thanks guys your make alot of sense to me, i am new and want to learn quick. Thanks again

Hi and welcome to ECF!

For info on batteries Baditude has several excellent blog posts on the subject. His blogs on battery safety are a must read before you venture into the world of sub-ohm vaping.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...ected-icr.html

Reliable sources for batteries:
Batteries-Chargers-Flashlights-Only The Best
Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor
Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More!

Do not buy batteries from eBay or Amazon. Some of their third party sellers sell fakes.

... and finally, here's a link that explains things in pretty simple terms: Vaping Battery Safety & Ohms Law Illustrated and explained in very simple terms

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

Anything with a max continuous discharge rate of 20A or higher will do you just fine.

Orbtronic has a 30A that works like the old reliable Sony VTCs
MXJOs are very nice batteries
Samsung 25R 20A
LG HE2 20A
XTar offers a re-wrapped Sony VTC4 30A
Even the old work horse MNKE 20A
The Purple Efests 20A
AW IMRs have some models 15A plus I believe

All in that list should suit your needs, and good on you to be asking, battery safety is a big concern, 20A CDR on any safe chemistry battery will give the oomph, as well as some safety room for you to wiggle with in case of a catastrophic short or failure in the coil without going thermal meltdown on you immediately.
