I appreciate your expertise on the subject, Bad; I don't own any box mods (except for my ancient Altoids box mod ). I just thought that the box shape might be easier to hold and manipulate. Any other good ones that you can think of? Other than the Reo that Ocelot already recommended earlier?

Not really. I've got the VV Gripper and the mechanical Gripper, a Vapage VMod bottom feeder, and the Segelei/Ovale V8. I wouldn't recommend any of them for the OP.

The VV Gripper would be recommended but for the durability issues. I've read that some people have had theirs working for several months, but many are being held together with masking tape. The fire button is easy to press and in a nice place, and the large 18650 battery is easy to install and lasts all day, but the battery door is prone to break. My second one has held up well for a few months now, but I don't use it alot and I treat it gently knowing how fragile it is.

The mech Gripper would be too small. The VMod's fire button is on the stiff side.

The V8 would be recommended but the battery compartment was poorly designed and you have to cram two 18350 batteries in against two flimsy springs that are a PITA. I'm not aware that anyone is even selling this mod any longer.

Possibly one of the front-button box mods that Mad Vapes sells might be worth looking into, but I haven't a clue on their durability.

It seems to me the battery device would be less of a problem than delivery systems.
I agree. my grandmother had rather arthritic gnarled hands but she could hold onto a remote control all day. What she couldn't do was the fiddly stuff like the child proofed caps as previously mentioned. Ironically she would have her meds. in these bottles. I think the vivi nova as recommended by badittude in the 3.5ml version would suit the op best as it has the widest gap for filling and can be filled straight from the juice bottle without the need for the syringe. Also it's a great newbie starting point for clearomizers. It also has a wide range of spares and looks nothing like a cigarette.
On the subject of battery devices though. It just occurred to me that The Tesla i have just bought could be the device to go for. It's lightweight even with a battery inside, well machined and has brilliant ribbed gripping points all the way down it's body. The button is easy to push and it,s floating fire pin should make it even easier for the op to use The Tesla - www.vapourworld.co.uk

I'd have to agree, the requirements for pushing a single protruding button are nothing compared to unscrewing top caps and squeezing juice in there and not getting it down the center tube. I'm inclined to think the wide top coil devices like the Vivi and the iClear are easier than the Protanks, simply because they can be left on the battery and are easier to fill anyway. The Reo would appear to be a novel and excellent suggestion that would get around most things, did you find there's much of a learning curve involved with getting the right amount of juice into the device? (I still don't have one)

Tesla is a very good idea because of its shape and ribbing. And I agree that the big ViVi would be probably the easiest one to fill. I'm still curious about the top filling ProTank, though.

I fill all of my Kanger BCCs straight from the bottle, but I admit that it requires some precision... and can get messy.

My concern about the Reo is that it requires some coordination, as it's a two-step operation. The Woodvil (my favorite Reo) is very comfortable to hold, but you need to press the battery button and squonk--it takes some skill. Also, refilling the bottle can get messy if one's not careful--the bottle needs to be unscrewed from the top cap and can easily slip out of hand...

I'm not sure. Ocelot's an expert. :)

I am by no means an expert with the Reo and am still working on perfecting my squonking skills, but it's not that steep of a learning curve. You lightly squeeze the bottle and the juice comes up into the well, you can see it. When you let go of the bottle, it extra juice is sucked down back into it. It you've squeezed too hard and there's too much juice, you can blot the drip well with a paper towel or set it aside for awhile and the liquid will seep back into the bottle. As far as getting a dry hit, it's very much like dripping - listening for a faint hiss at the end of a draw that's let's you know you need more juice.

Only for batteries and eliquids, though.

I thought all the other orders are still being shipped and processed by the customs on time...?

ive got an order placed on the 22nd, shipped on the 25th, and it left san francisco last night. a couple bottles of juice, some wick & some iclear 16s. so i think there was a temporary hairball in customs, but im not convinced that it is a forever thing..

You asked how small and slippery the juice bottles were - the 30ml is just over 3 inches long and about an inch and a quarter in diameter.

This is why I say bigger is better on the juice bottles - as the 10ml is about half the size - and would not be as easy to hold on to.

Of all the juice bottles I have seen over the years - none have been slippery - unless you get a lot of juice on the outside of the bottle.

It is helpful to have paper towels on hand when you fill up (whatever you decide on) - so you can quickly and easily catch any stray juice - and make sure none landed on the outside of the tank - as that would tend to make your tank a little bit slippery as well.

Thanks so much for all your help. After going through the posts & reviews I'm thinking that the Innokin iTaste battery would work well for me. The USB connector would be easier for me for charging than something I need to twist, and the shape good for me to hold on to (my weighted stylus is pencil shaped and the edges make it easier to feel while I'm using it). It is affordable for now too.

Katya, is this the new Kanger you were talking about? Kanger Unitank Bottom Coil Tank
I'm also looking at the other suggestions. Unfortunately I don't have anyone else who can help. My husband has Parkinson's (doesn't everyone have a family neurologist) and while we can work with each other on a lot of things I don't think that this would be one.

And as a side question any opinions on smoke-evolution as a supplier? They seem to have the best prices on the Innokin for US shipped suppliers and I could get everything I need to start at one place.

Yes! This is the first and only Kanger Bottom Coil Changeable topper that if filled from the top--just like the ViVi Novas!

WOOT! I didn't even know they were out yet!

Thanks! :)

The best prices for Innokin iTaste batteries can be found at Fasttech. Which one are are you thinking about? The MVP or the VV? But the wait is at least two weeks with their free shipping. You can get it faster if pay extra for shipping.

VV 3--and they are closed until Oct. 7th.

$39.54 iTaste VW V3.0 7-in-1 Variable Voltage Rechargeable 800mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - vv-3.0 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

MVP

Found 9 innokin itaste at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

and a telescopic SVD--new...

$37.21 INNOKIN iTaste SVD Telescoping Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Mod / Battery Compartment at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I am completely unfamiliar with the latter.

Kanger Unitank Bottom Coil Tank <<<<< this thing has a lot of little pieces!

Isn't there any "top filling" tank available that is a bit more basic???

Most of changeable-coil clearomizer have a lot of small pieces--they come apart, can be cleaned easily, and parts are replaceable--which is a good thing.

Those with not so many pieces are not easy to clean and maintain and need to be thrown out as soon as the coil (and the wick) fail.

Hi amoret. Congratulations on planning to vape!

I have tremors in both of my hands so I too consider ease-of-use when buying my supplies. I use, and have used from the beginning, an ego-style battery. They are fairly lightweight espec7if you get 650 or 900 mah ones (they are shorter). I use Kanger evod bottom feeder tanks 2ith replaceable coils. I have found that the bottom feeder tanks are far easier to fill with juice, because the opening is bigger and there is more room for error without accidentally spilling into the center tube. The tanks are also easy to unscrew for refilling, and are easy to screw on and off of the battery.

If you have difficulty holding something the size of a Sharpie marker, though, maybe you should look for a rectangular mod, or one that has a bigger diameter.

The most helpful thing for me has been using juices with glass droppers or skinny needle nose dripper tops. Alice in Vapeland and larger bottles from Hurricane Vapors come with glass eyedroppes, and Moon Mountain Vapor has bottles with skinny drippers.

I have found that the bigger bottles are easier to squeeze liquid out of. But it would be easy to find empty bottles with these types of setups, if you can pour purchased liquids into them for ease of use.

I will warn you that in my first few weeks off the stinkies I found my symptoms worsened, probably because of my body withdrawing from all the crap in cigs. If you also experience some setbacks in your symptoms don't give up! The body needs time to adjust.

Sorry, missed that--I don't know this supplier. I'm sure others will chime in to help you soon.
