Where to start?!?

I agree 100% with billbeckusa when he told you that the more an e cig looks like a cigarette, the worst it actually is... Although the njoy King might be an exception (super expensive though).

But if what you want is what we call here a cig-a-like, there are some options out there.

-The Joyetech E-Roll is a pretty popular premium cig-a-like

-The Bloog as well

-The Volt is another one.

I would recommend staying away from all the crap that you'll find in 7-11's, Walgreens, Gas stations etc...: Blu, V2, Greensmoke, Logic, Finiti, eon smoke and so on. They are all underwhelming and super expensive.

But again, as the saying goes: If it looks like a cigarette, you're doing it wrong.

A Evod bcc or a Kanger Protank on a ego twist is my recommended way to go.

Hi There,
I noticed that the 2 brands that u r recommending as cig-a-like, Bloog and Volt have limitted compatibility with other brands. I learned that from ecig-filter site that u trashed. Is this a big issue? Also, is there anything cheaper then $10 per 5 pack of cartomizers? I have no interest in using juice at this point. Thanks!

{MODERATED}

This is ok for people who do not want to use juice. The compatibility tool is pretty neat but there is no discussion on where to buy batteries and kits. Seems like every brand is trying sucker new users into investing $50 in crap and then wont tell you what brands fit your new overpriced batteries.

I got me one of these Totally Wicked Tornado RCS Kit

It has a 3.5ml tank easy to replace coils and a 2100mAh battery, I can vape for a day and a half before I need to refill, also it has the ability to charge/USB passthru (so I can sit at my desk and get my vape on! ) !

Absolute workhorse!

And its not too shabby looking

i personaly own a Logic ecig also. the menthol is a semi vanilla with a menthol after kick. i do know that alot of people who use ecigs end up buying high end kits and tanks ect. as a regular smoker i dont wanna take that route, i rather just buy preffilled cart and slap it on my ecig. started with a blue disposable that didnt last the walk home, i turned around and purchased a "21 century" brand rechargable, and have since switched to logic as its more dependable. "21century" seams to gunk up rather quickly and the flavor IMO is not all that great. if you like the Logic, id say just go get a kit since they are only about 20$ an come with menthol and non menthol. then again, dont listen to me because i dont like to persuade some one to buy something that they potentialy wont like in the long run. its ben 5 days since my switch of brands, havent had to switch carts yet or charge the battery from the initial package opening. i used to smoke a pack every 1-2 days.

Finally someone talking about something other then juice and weird looking batteries. I thought this was a thread for beginners not suckers. Keep in mind that you logic and century21 batteries are compatible with many other brands so you dont need to purchase new batteries just because you got bored with a brand. Also, manul batteries work much much better so you may want to purchase a manual whenever your current battery starts to give you trouble. ecig-filter site posted on this thread has nice compatibility information if you want to know which brands fit your current batteries. Adapters are also avalable to go from D1 (21st Century) battery to 510 (Logic) cartridges for example. Most adapters can be used to charge batteries as well. That means that your Logic battery can be charged using your 21st century charger using an adapter....Mandy :)

If you like what your are using, please keep using it. I just wanted to point out that what you seem to be refering as a high end kit is really not high end. You can get an ego kit from fasttech for bout 20$ and it would be a much more enjoyable vape.

But as I said, if you like it.... Stick with it.

to clearify what i mean by high end, im refering to ANY of the vapes that are not CIG-alikes that are purchased from a gas station ect.

and to add or subtract what i said earlier, Logic, im not to sure about the consistancy of the product. my first kit - took a poop - wasnt sure if it was the battery or the charger, so i gutted the battery to make a USB passthru, and then when a friend bought a kit, he didnt like it so he gave it to me free, and it turnes out MY charger was actualy faulty so my battery may or may of not ben? regardless im still using the kit i got from him and so far no problems yet.
