I just want to start out with what I'm currently using. I've got a Vision Spinner II 1600mAh variable voltage battery and a cheap little stock tank that came on a starter kit.

I've been looking in to RDAs, RDTAs, and RTAs and also batteries (more specifically variable WATTAGE instead of vv).

So having said all that, I would like to hear some opinions on where to move up from where I'm at.

My mother in law gave me $100 for Xmas to do my vape shopping so that's going to be my limit.

I did find an Aspire nautilus Mini on ebay for about $15 and have also been looking at a Phantom X variable wattage battery for about $40. I'm more of a taste person versus vapor but I do enjoy my clouds!

I use a Kayfun Lite Plus V2 and a couple of Russian 91%s on my ProVari / eLeaf iStick / MVP 2. I'm a mouth to lung vaper.

I would advise against buying from eBay or Amazon, since - last i checked - they are against the platform's ToS...if you get a fake or a piece of junk and the seller won't work with you, about all eBay will do is shutdown their shop. Go to a reputable vendor, there's a giant list on the ECF, you can find it at the top under Forum Suppliers.

Anyhow, I've heard that most of the Kayfun clones are just as good as the authentics, I've not used a clone, so I can't say personally. Those can usually be had for about 30-40 bucks.

The MVP 20 is out now and has more features than the 2.0. This is the best price I know of:

Innokin iTaste MVP 20 Watt - 101 Vape

There are also a variety of clearomizers and RBAs you can use on it (although NOT the Atlantis. 20 watts is the bottom end of what the Atlantis performs at and it's often not enough). This vendor doesn't have the greatest selection, but they ones they have are okay. I'm trying to save you money on shipping.

While you say you want to get into building, there is a learning curve and so many style to choose from. As Kevin said, it may be more advantageous to vape a tank with replaceable heads while doing research.
