Suggestions for Clouds, Please

My daughter's boyfriend has expressed a desire for equipment that will make clouds. Currently, he is using a Kanger Evod 650 mah battery with an Evod Glass tank. Coils are 1.8 to 2.2 ohms, single. He uses 0 nicotine, and when I order eliquids for him I usually order 50/50 pg/vg. There is a vape shop not all that far from us, and he and the daughter have been in there a few times. He has seen a few cloud blowers in there, and thought it was interesting. He has not done a lot of research, and started vaping after he and my daughter got together. Before that, he used to bum a cigarette or two off friends when he wanted a smoke. He tends to rely on us as far as anything vaping related goes. He does not vape alot, usually a little at home and once in a while while out with friends who vape or smoke. Coils last him forever. Like my daughter and myself, he is an ex-smoker.

We are looking for something around $50 or under, since he does not vape all that much. Need something decently made and reliable. We also need a setup that uses factory coils. He is not interested in building coils, or even rewicking. He may get interested enough to try at some later point, but right now he has other hobbies to keep him busy, including his self-assigned role as stepfather to my grandson, who has autism.

I know that upping the vg content of his eliquids will help somewhat with clouds, but I get the impression that he is looking for better hardware. My daughter and I just got each other new hardware for Christmas - she and the boyfriend got me a CoolFire 4, and I just ordered her the Innokin VV3.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. His birthday is in February, and I have a feeling that my daughter would like to surprise him then.

Thanks for any suggestions/advice. I plan to suggest that he handle a few different setups next time they go to the vape shop, just to see how he likes the feel of them, but I would like a few suggestions as far as what to steer him toward trying.

No need to get crazy. a little smart upgrade may amaze him.

How about a Subox Mini, .5ohm coil ans a good Max vg e-liquid.

With the right build and air/heat combo you can blow clouds with most everything.

By February, anything we suggest now will be obsolete.

Other than that, I kind of find myself struggling with the back story.

I guess if you must, the herekles plus is a good tank with pre built coils. And I hear the ipv d2 is OK. Not sure, don't have one. Something that does 100w. The herekles plus runs well in the 60-70 range.

Better suggestion.....have him do his own research and learn something first. We harp on the dangers of mechs and stuff like that, but a kid with any high powered cloud blower that takes batteries, who has no knowledge of what he's doing, is more dangerous than any mech on the market.

Buy great batteries (Samsung 25rs, lg hg2) for him so he doesn't skimp there.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I was half-thinking about the Subox Mini. I know that they were looking at it when they were looking for the CoolFire for me, and I will see if the daughter thinks he might like it. Depending on pricing on a good charger and a couple of batteries and extra coils, he might be able to get it for Christmas or New Year's - I still have not gotten him anything. Eliquids are not a problem - I will be putting an order in soon, anyway, and can get some Max VG flavors then.

Asbestos 4004 - He is not a kid by any means. Like my daughter, he is thirty-something. He and my daughter both work full time, and have plenty to do when they get home. My grandson is 18 and has autism. When he is having a rough day, we all have a rough day - trust me on this one. I am retired and home all day. In between caring for my grandson and home-schooling him, I have the time and the interest to do the research for all of us. They both know to come here if they have any problems when I am not around (let's face it, I am 66, and heart disease runs on both sides of my family). They both have enough common sense and basic knowledge to listen to what I tell them about some things.

I have no intention of skimping on batteries or a charger, or even coils, for that matter. I would rather pay a few extra bucks for something that I know is good quality, for all that I am a cheapskate. My parents grew up during the depression, and I have learned from the best as far as what it is safe to cut corners on, and what to go for quality on.
