I still love my Veritas. I do a single horizontal coil build in it that's not too tough and with proper cleaning and rewicking, my builds can last for months.

That said, regarding leak-resistant RDAs that are also great performers - I'm really enjoying my Aeolus, Rogue and Marquis. The Marquis is a bit of an 'involved' build process - but top notch flavor. But realistically, for what you're describing, it seems like the Aeolus would be a great fit. Super easy to build on - decent juice well - and VERY leak resistant. I've never had a single leak with it. Mine is the v1 - I haven't tried the v2.

Good luck

I do my Veritas builds identical to yours. It's been my daily driver since day 1 and that was pretty much exactly a year ago. I'm looking at the Aeolous v1 right now but I'm browsing threads trying to confirm if it's the right choice for me.

EDIT: P.S. - went to Vape Expo NJ and everyone was vaping on Sunday. I had an awesome time personally. Tried tons of juice and walked away with tons of schwag. Great experience. I apologize for those that didn't get in or that weren't allowed to vape Saturday.

The Derringer is a great RDA with the SMPL mod. It's a low profile setup that, in my opinion, just kills it. Not quite leak resistant, though. The Marquis is definitely a winner, when it comes to rarely leaking. I've never had an issue with my Hobo leaking, either. And anything with top airflow is a solid choice, however I tend to prefer those on a regulated device for some reason.
Hope you find something.

Johnny agree top airflow is nice. I love my little Rogue 18 mm tall not counting 510 pin and drip tip.

I laughingly call it an upside down Freakshow Mini.
