Suggestions for RDA and RTA

Here is my situation:
I am very limited financially. I have one T3S, two heads for it. After getting juice for me to make it another week, I might have enough money to get an atomizer. Maybe. It is going to be really close. Last night a new friend introduced my wife to sub ohm dripping. She was really impressed with the smell and flavor it put out. Hell it was a fog machine. .2 ohms on 100 watts. She wants to try vaping again.
Stop, don't even suggest it. I can't afford to buy any gear AT ALL, save the noted possibility of maybe $30 for an atomizer.
She has her ProVari Mini, I am waiting for my Vamo from FT. Regulated vaping 1.3 ohms to 1.5. I can build coils no problem. I have the kanthol and wick. I can get cotton.
Will a dual coil at 1.3 give us something? She could smell his flavor across the room.
He was using a genuine mutation x v2.
Suggestions for an atty and build? While I do appreciate any advice, we are hurting financially and I ask please keep in mind $30 is the max I can invest. Thanks

you could get something like a orchid or aqua clone, there both dual coil set up tanks an a ~30w device like a hana clone. build dual 10 rap 2mm or 13 rap 1.5mm coils with 30g kathal a1 for a ~1.2Ω load that should perform good through the 30w range with a good vape

I will Google the orchid and aqua clones, 15 watts is the max setting on the Vamo, 6 volts on the ProVari, so we are limited to what we can apply to the atomizer.

than 32g kanthal at 8 rap at 1.4mm to 6 rap at 2mm for total 1.2Ω an a good heat range, and sorry I missed what you had

Two 1.3 coils would give you 0.65 ohm. I'm not sure about the V5 or V7 but my V6 will run that no problem. Kanthal gauge is also going to play a role in the cloud department as well as the amount of VG in the juice. Thicker Kanthal (say 24G) will produce more cloud at the 0.65 range than smaller Kanthal (28G). And the more VG in the mix the more cloud. On my V6 with a single 24G coil at 0.5 ohm (5 wraps around a 1/8 drill) will give a very respectable cloud/flavor. And my prefered RDA at this point is the Tugboat. So I hope this information is helpful. I went as low as 0.3ohm, 30 watts on my mec mod but I felt like the heat at that level took away from the flavor. But everyone has there own taste.

As far as I am aware, you can build single or dual coil on it. Some people don't like the triangular head screws but... There are a few threads around here about it which should give you more info.

I will look into the Tugboat. When I said 1.3 - 1.5 ohms I am thinking two coils approximately 3 ohms each. If she gets back into vaping I will have over $200 a month I can save on cigarettes.
It's hard. And please don't think I am looking for pity. I just have no idea/experience with dual coil atomizers. $30 is the max. I feel like I am at a slot machine gambling away the rent LOL

dual coils at 32g would end up over your amp limit so 33g at 1.57Ω would be ideal, 7 rap 2mm an 9 rap 1.5mm

Get yourself a pair of Magma clones. One for each of you. You'll have money left over and you'll both be happy.

I really appreciate the responses. After much Googly time I have ordered an authentic Mutation X v2. I hope a total resistance around 1.5 will work well. Again thanks for your help.
