I have been using my twists for about a month now and absolutely love them, but I would like to get something more concealable for when I am at work. Something that will hold at least 2 ml of juice, fits in the palm of my hand, and something that I don't have to worry about breaking in my pocket while working are a must. Battery life (I work 10 hr shifts) and safety (protected) are also big selling points. Do you guys have any suggestions on something that fits this bill without draining my checking?

In a haze of vapor
My first apv was a zmax v2. Now upgrading to the flattop v3. It just works.love it. Though I've never owned one, the vamo can't be beat for the price (around $40), although some have reported issues with fragility of the 510 connection but thwts easily prevented with common sense or a connection bushing.

Its hard to beat a chip based system in 350 mod for size/feature comparison.

Good luck, and always buy stainless! Chrome and gun metal don't last!

If a single voltage, mechanical mod will fit your needs, you can't beat the stealth and price of the Smoktech Gripper. Only $16. The 18350 battery should provide 7 - 8 hours of use: if you need longer carry a spare battery with you.

Also a variable voltage model available for $43 called the Smoktech V-V Gripper. Uses an 18650 IMR battery that should last all day. Both Grippers will require a charger. If you wish to stay with an eGo battery, there are the Mini eGo's. They will only give you 3 - 4 hours of use between charges though. A 2 ml capacity clearomizer should last you a shift easily. The Gripper and the VV Gripper I can endorse. I have both, and both are very nice PVs.

I also would suggest this...holds quite a lot of juice onboard and is VERY pocket friendly. VMOD 2.0 and VMOD XL

(Edit...BTW...that's my hand holding the little Gripper with the knucklehead drip tip in the pic Baditude posted! lol!)

I was hoping you'd show up and give your endorsements, fourthrok. I hope you don't mind me using your hand on my post. (That sounds perverted) :p

I like what I see with the vMod. What are the differences in the 2.0 and the XL versions? Are the attys that come with them any good? Are there any others that I might could use in them? What is the battery life like on them?

Hey Rickman- DJRyckRak here.

vMod 2.0:
The Vapage Premium VMOD System Includes:
• 1 Complete (Assembled) V-Mod 2.0
• 1 Silo 2.2 ohm Cartomizer
• 1 Hybrid 2.0ohm Atomizer
• 2 E-Liquid Bottles (empty): (each holds 4.5ml with extra caps)
• 2 Cartomizer Tips (1 Long, 1 Short)
• 2 Li-ion 14500 3.7v 900mAh Batteries: (900mAh gets you 8-9 hours vapetime)
• 1 Two-Piece Battery Charger*
• 1 Wall Charger
• User Guide
• Warranty Registration Card

vMod XL:
Premium System Includes:
1 Complete VMOD-XL
1 Silo 2.2 ohm Cartomizer
1 Hybrid 2.0 ohm Atomizer
2 E-Liquid Bottle (empty): (9ml...all shift, no refilling !)
1 Li-Ion 18650 3.7v Battery: (2000 mAh..20 hours, but you need two batteries, one to vape on- one on the charger)
1 Battery Charger
User Guide
Warranty Registration Card

The Cartomizer and Atomizer that Vapage sells get very high marks for quality and longevity.
But they cost a bit more than others (Boge, SmokTech..etc).
Thankfully- the connector on the vMod XL is 'now' a standard 510 threaded one-
so you can buy what you like and can afford.

All this being said...
I don't own a vMod XL ...
...Yet !...

I was following a thread of 'Forthrok's' last night...
and the sleeping consumer me woke up at 3AM and ordered one !
I woke this AM and sure enough- had a email conformation !
and sleeping consumer me had bought a little of everything !

So I am awaiting my first fully mechanical bottom feeder- a vMod XL !
and the iPad and CC's are sleeping in the basement from now on !

Glad to see I am not the only person who has to check my email in the morning to see what I bought while asleep. If I read these specs correctly then the only differences between the 2.0 and XL models are juice capacity and battery life. I think I may order the 2.0 model because it fits all of the needs that I have set forth and should be much more compact than the XL model (a big plus for me). Thanks for all the info guys and I will continue to do more research before pulling the trigger. If anybody can come up with other mods that may suit my needs or any valid argument as to why I should go for something other than the vMod 2.0 then please post them here. All input is much appreciated.

ROFL! I don't mind at all!

And anyway..."perverted" seems a bit harsh. Some people would call it something else, altogether!

OMG! I could call it something else altogether. I just love my family here. So much fun to go around for everyone here.
Actually I've been looking really hard at the vmod. I'm leaning towards the 2.0 instead of the XL version.
(I can't believe I'm looking at another mod. I'm so ashamed).

I believe you made a good choice Rickman.
That is a pretty compelling argument- too be able to go out with only one small mod that will get you through a whole day !
ForthRok also had another- more astedic reason that I thought long about...
All my other mods are round tubes, and I'm sure I look like I'm sucking on a bottle....or something else.
Maybe a mod that looks like a giant cigarette lighter will enhance my already macho image !!! LOL:laugh:

So here's to great choices, and Vapemail stalking !!! :toast:
