I've got my "wish list" set up for my order a bit later this week. Going to get some supplies for my Vmod! The XL is terrific...9ml. on board (of course, you'll want to refill the bottle when it's about 3/4 empty...it'll feed and vape a bit smoother...but it's so easy it's almost stupid). No worries, no hassles...just a good lookin' dependable APV and a terrific vape! Congrats Rickman6982!!

Warning: You may find that you like the way the Vmod vapes so much that all your other PVs will seem kinda lame. Maybe. Well...it kinda happened to me, at any rate! (oh...I'll still use 'em...but not all that happily! Every time I try...I miss my Vmod XL too much and have to come running back to him!)

Edit: I find that the box mod design is more comfortable to hold. Yeah, it's cool! You betcha!

The difference in shape from my old stick batts will definitely be a plus too haha. I have also been in contact with the folks at jwraps.com to see about getting some custom wraps made for my shell(s). None of the designer shells that I have found for the vmod are really speaking to me personally so I thought that I would see if I could get some custom wraps cut. Jwraps seems to be eager to help me in this. Even though they currently do not have the specs to make a wrap for the vmod they have given me a couple of different options to get the specs to them (including the very real possibility that they may personally buy one to get the measurements). I think it would look awesome wrapped in carbon fiber :2cool:

~What do you guys personally prefer and why? The silo cart or the atty?

I agree that the carbon fiber wrap would be excellent! I am planning on getting another graphics shell this week. Currently have the gunmetal silver and the burel. I contacted Vapage last week and they are getting more colors in for the XL (been limited lately, apparently). When they do, I'll have to spring for the green, too. Four shells will hold me awhile, I think!

They are having a pretty good sale on both the XL and the V2 kits this week...coupons just came out about an hour ago. The XL a la carte is included. Check their Facebook page for the coupon codes. They run sales every Tuesday (not always for Vmod, though) so sign up for their newsletter. Sale should be good for a week.

Seems most (that post here on ECF) like the atomizers, but some of us are all about the cartos. The Silos are awesome. I also use Smok super shorties. You can use pretty much any carto or atty that is 510 compatible.. I like the Silios and super shorties because the hit and flavor are pretty much identical to atomizers...but I find the cartos more forgiving and require less squonking. YMMV.

Mine came in Wednesday...
Really liking the size and look of it...I got a Black one.
And what about that bottle, going to be vaping some juice with that big ol' bottle !
Tried the carto first...as Forthrok said "there is a small learning curve"...
Had it vaping great...then flooded it....then cleaned it up and all is well.

Then, I tried the Atomizer...very nice- but my butter rum was a bit too much for it...
so I cleaned it up and put it away...and went back to a carto.

I like the feel in hand, small enough size to pocket with the shorty drip tip...
but everyone would appreciate a 18650 battery for all day vaping.

This is quite a nice mod. I do believe this vMod XL and my eRoll will now become my everyday carry vape gear....
(right now I leave the house with two eGo-Cs 1000mah, an eRoll with four extra cartridges and The Natural with a R-Tank)

I may get another vMod XL...just to leave in the car !

I got the black too and am using the carto first since that is the one that came preloaded in it. I will switch to the atty when I burn this carto up. As for flooding...I have yet to do that. No problems from it by just giving a tilt every so often and then a light squeeze when the flavor starts to mute. Love it and it is now my all day PV. My twists are kind of gathering dust. I am only using them right now to try out new juices...a 9 ml fill up in the Vmod is a bit much for a juice I don't know yet. I currently have one bottle of HHV Blade and one of MBV Bananas Gone Nuts filled.

I've been trying to decide between the 2.0 and the XL. Already got all the 18650 batteries I need but have been leaning towards the smaller size of the 2.0. Thanks for even more confusion. LOL. Just a good thing I'm flat broke at this time. (Not really. I like the idea of using a carto since I've already got about 200 LR boges stashed back for my tanks. Not punched. I'll do that as needed). I need a raise. Oh darn u got one last week. Just need the extra cash now. Stocking up in case sb 2097 or whatever it is gets passed in OK.
BUT NOW I GOT THE TNT56 WANTS!!!!! Again.

Hey tnt56 !
When my order came in, I had ordered 3 extra two-packs of bottles...
They sent the vMod 2.0 ones...4ml...very small looking to me.
They are sending the correct ones and a mailer for the wrong ones...
So all is well.

If you already have the cartos and the batteries, go with the XL.
I can assure you, it's not very big.
Slips right into my jeans pockets.

Heck if I wil the lottery I'll just buy both. But if I win the lottery knowing me I'll buy at least three of every mod I've never heard of and then buy them all a home so they have a place to live. (At least a person can dream)

Naw...
Just a nice big home for you !
You can then buy a smaller 'warehouse' for the mods...
and wick, DIY, wire, RBA/RDAs, Tanks...
Never mind...make it a big warehouse !
(maybe big enough to put a few more 'toys'...
i mean bikes in !!!)

I swapped the silo cart for the atty today and I must say that I absolutely hate the attys. 2 pulls off of it and then I start to get that burnt wire taste. Any effort to properly saturate the atty has resulted in flooding. I will be sticking with the cartos...and a huge plus is how much I will save by using them vs the attys.
