Sed, thanks for the info, I saw the tridents and for the price of a clone it wouldn't be bad for me to use exclusively at home. I have never been into dripping, usually because I always had both hands tied up at work and hadn't the time to continuously drip. With the newer dripping rebuildables there isnt the need to drip as frequently as the older stuff.

My preference is still a tank/genesis style setup. I have been looking at the new foggers as well. Very interested in them but there's just so much out there and so much to consider and info to gather from those with the experience.

Thanks again!

I rebuild my protank 2 heads, which are a real tight squeeze I think I should be able to build something that will make some vapor and then improve from there.

Since I have about a $40 credit on FT I tossed a few items in my cart as possibles...below is what I'm considering.

Steam turbine 3ml
ATTY 2.5ml
And a K6 dripper

All are glass except for the k6 which is all stainless, but it will give me a little of each style to try out to get my feet wet.

Dripper for use at home a couple for on the go.

Also may just go ahead and order the Youde I was looking at for $27.

I already have plenty of kanthal, ribbon, silica, ekowool, and various other cotton items I just need something to put them all together in.

I'd suggest getting something other than the k6 dripper. One, it's really small, not much space to work with. Two, it doesn't have a juice well so you can only do a few drops max. Three, it has a screw on cap, you won't be able to adjust the position of your air hole so you'll have to make sure you build the coil in just the right spot.

If you're going with fasttech, get the igo-l, igo-w, v5, or any other dripper that doesn't have the drawbacks I listed, they have a lot to choose from.

no prob :) one other thing to look at is some have holes in the posts that you can thread the wire through, others you just trap the wire under the screw heads. The igo-l doesn't have post holes, the igo-w is supposed to but the one I just got today from FT doesn't, the various versions of the v5 should all have post holes BUT they use hex screws instead of pan head phillips. It's not a huge deal, they come with a tiny wrench to use, and the screws are easily replaced(they're size m2 4mm).

I've read that between the two the igo-w would be the best choice. There's just so many to choose from. But I don't mind spending $20 to get the experience with them and move onto better versions further down the road if I so choose.

The space inside for working with the coils and the post/terminal information is the best because its usually information you can only get by lots of reading about the specific RDA/RBA or personally owning one. I am glad you jumped in on this thread! :)

I like the look of the igo-l better than the igo-w(it's a plain cylinder) but I wanted the post holes(which I didn't get :( ) and easier setup of dual coils with three posts if I choose to do that. The igo-w at FT also only has one airhole in the cap, so if you want to do dual coils you'd need to drill a second one. I love my v5 that I've had for months, I got the one with three air holes, and even though so far I've only done single coils I like the easy draw and not having to drill it out, it does have it's quirks though; the o-rings hold the top cap on super tight, it's hard to remove, and the center pin sticks out really far so it doesn't flush mount with any of my mods, though I should have a new mech with a telescopic pin tomorrow so I'll see how that works out.

Edit: the discussions on FT usually have really good info/observations, if you can get past the name calling and useless "this sucks! for no reason" posts.

As far as the FT postings go I've noticed that, sometimes you have to just wade through some of it to get the real good info or you can tell right away the poster has the IQ of a fruitfly.

What mod do you have on the way?

I'm waiting my Vamo v3 a nemesis, magneto and astra.

Currently trying out this SVD and liking it..a lot. And I have a 134 I got as a gift but find it hard to take it outside the house. Other than those I have an mvp, solid brass Apollo VV and 2 other Apollo vv's in stainless. One is the mini and other full-size but I have the extension tube for. uding 18650's.

I got such a great price on the apollos way back when that I couldn't turn them down.. and I haven't had a single issue with them.

I'm personally not liking that the innokin 134 only has a wattage adjustment. I can be running a 2ohm coil setup and at 12 watts on the 134 and put the 2ohm on a plain VV mod at 4.8-5.0v and get more power and a better vape.

I currently have a vamo v2, and a kts+. Tomorrow my backup vamo v2 should arrive, as well as a pisces mech clone.

The 134 just looks really big, and I'd want an ohm meter on a vw mod. I was considering the SVD, the KSD looked cool but they never got them back in stock, but I love my vamo. My friend just got his chi you clone from FT and it's really nice, hefty and solid.

I have tinkered with a vamo v2 I had for a good while, I sold it to a buddy to get him off analogs after getting this SVD. Then I ordered another SVD for a backup Lol

I have that vamo v3 coming though so I can't wait to do a little comparison and get some time on it to see which I like best between it and the SVD.

The 134 is hefty but I like that about it.. the bulk and all the edges and stuff is what really gets me. I have a habit of sitting my PV in my lap while driving and afraid of hopping out of my car with the 134 and it falling... I don't want to have to pay to repave a parking lot or a slab of concrete because I forgot it was on my lap. Haha

Well to be honest it is quite sturdy. It is all stainless which helps and the main body portion has 1/4"+ of threads on which the extension tube rides. The extension has several inches of internal threading. There is a little wiggle in it but not much and it becomes a non issue once you put a battery in it. One thing that I do like about it that I haven't had on other PC's I'd that it adjust to sizes slightly shortly snd longer than an 18350/18650 battery. I use flattops, so I can back off the extension tube a few quick twists..swap batteries and put the end cap on without having to try snd compress the tail cap spring. Then just give it a couple twists to get the desired amount of tension on the battery.

I hate fighting with a tail cap snd spring..I always worry about cross threading a bit or damaging the threads in some way. Not an issue with the SVD. Plus, I see the spare top caps and extension tube+tailcap for sale for around $6 each.

I could send you some pictures if you are interested or need more clarification on it.

I get what you're saying, and yeah, with my kts+ fully extended it feels pretty solid with a battery in it too. I think I'm done buying mods for awhile though, planning to save up for a REO, which just seems to fit my vape style the best. I'm a big fan of micro coils, and the REO and rm2 atomizer just seem like the perfect setup.

I'm comfortable with where I'm at with pv's. I have my favorite 3.7 mods and both vv and vw mods in various setups and backups for each.

I think that once I nail down the rebuildables I won't have a need for much else.

Unless of course something revolutionary so to speak comes out or just something so different or appealing that I feel I have to have it...

I hear you, I've got my vamos, my two mechs, my genesis atomizers(aga-t2s and cobra clone) and my drippers. I did order a Rocket so I can try out the kayfun/russian style, that should be ready to ship tomorrow hopefully. That should be it for awhile unless like you said, something game changing comes along.
